Man every since I heard this on Vin and sori I have been hooked to it. I'd even put it at the number 2 spot for Christian songs just under amazing Grace.
The song is deeply personal for him and his brother (the original frontman) and people were constantly asking them to play a song that was literally about their father that abandoned them. Putting yourself in that mindset to play a song like that is incredibly draining. Its not a song that could be played constantly too much for them because its popular. From what I understand, him and his father are on much better terms now and Cody is older now, so he's more comfortable to play.
One of the most emotionally beautiful songs I've ever heard.
This brings me to tears..
Great version/recording of this!
Hey, thank you! I did my best!

:-O outstanding. 1 dislike, probably the dad
I'm sure his father is still loving him from afar and couldn't be more proud of his children
No, I won't play that song to hear you singing it back, it is... alright?

Yeah but if you ask him to play it at a show he will say fuck off. That dude got a big head after the frontman left.
