I have set up the camera but when I open the app on another wifi location when I’m out, do I have to reset wifi connection for the app? I’m worried this will disconnect the camera from the other wifi when left on also. Thank you

My camera didn't scan the QR code on the phone. I tried and tried and no luck. 8 inches away for over 5 minutes and nothing.
Just bought this for watching our dog! In order to connect 2 phones to view the camera, do you do the whole setup on the 2nd phone again or do you login with the first phone credentials?

Is there no internet port on E1 Pro
You did not mention anything specific about insertion of the SD card prior to plugging in the camera. My Argus Pro has some specific instructions as to when to put it in on that camera and says the SD card can be ruined if done wrong. Of course the Argus Pro has a battery and is not connected to a wall outlet. Do you insert the SD card on this camera after you plug in the camera to the outlet or before or does it matter?
I really don't think it matters but I inserted my SD card before I plugged it in. Sorry for not mentioning it. By the way I've been using this camera for many many months and zero issues. Its a solid camera for the price and pretty user friendly. Thanks for commenting and for watching.

Your E1 Pro has an Ethernet connection? That's great! I prefer a wired connection its more reliable.
Hi great set up video . Just had my E1 pro , followed your set up and so simple to set up .The booklet was just boaring and not so straightforward .. Quick question ,has the E1. pro a power back up for any length of time ..or will it require a constant mains power feed ? ie , car I use it in my parked car ,or holiday home /camping trip ?/outdoors shed .. when I have no main powers

Hi. Great channel. I have the Reolink EV1 and it was running great..
I added in my SD card and it stated Ibhad to format the disk. So I hit Confirm.
Waited a while . Nothing happened..so I reset the EV1. And now I cannot connect to my wifi..
SHOULD I PRESS "ADD DEVICE" ON MY APP? Would that help? And how do I format the disk?

I love my Reolink 4k with NVR but they need to improve on the field of view , that 89 degree is terrible,it’s way too narrow. My logi-2 web cameras that I swapped out had 180 degrees. Reolink we need at least 120.

But it says wireless I thought that wireless meant I don’t need WiFi to record. My maintenance man disconnects my WiFi when I leave home. Does this camera work without WiFi ?
No there is no ethernet connection sorry. You need WIFI.
How am I supposed to mount it to the ceiling? Every time I unplug the cord it disconnects from wifi and blue light on cam turns off 😕
You will need to run the power cord from the ceiling location to a power outlet. The Camera needs power 24 / 7.

Once the SD card is full will the camera discontinue recording or will it automatically overwrite starting from the oldest recording?
No you will have to delete the footage on the SD card. So I recommend getting the 128 gb card to avoid running out of room. Thanks for watching!!
Will 128gb work in it? It says up to 64gb. Also if I have this in constant record how much space does it use per day say
@@andrewlumbard I don't know if the 128 gb will work. I've only used the 64 gb. As far as recording time if you constantly record with the 64 gb I would say it will last about 30 days. Thanks for watching.
@@UltimateTechHub I believe their website actually says that a 128 gb SD card will work in this camera as well as the 16 gb and 64 gb cards. I think I remember seeing that when first searching through the owner's manual on them.

Got as far as reo link app. That's all I needed to know, yet another security camera that connects to the internet through a phone and some app or other. Where can I get a decent camera that doesn't need an app or connect online?
The Reolink can be blocked for the internet and work just fine on a LAN. Obviously, the notifications don't work but if you need something for local viewing, the Reolink will work fine. If you want a more traditional network camera, look towards Axis, Hanwha/Techwin and Bosch
Are they wireless? Like does it need the power core all the time?
Yes power cable is necessary.
I've had these cameras for a while... my audio on live and recordings sucks. Some things are loud and audible, like dropping something or sliding a chair over hardwoods. But, human voices are literally inaudible unless you put the phone speaker right up to your ear, even then its hard to make out. I've tried their app on my Iphone 11pro and my Google Pixel phone, same result with both phones. I give up.

I can’t find my SD card anywhere
It's in your dresser, on the far left side in the second drawer down from the top. Well, I don't know if it's still there, but that's the last place I saw it.
This Camara work's with 5G ?
Yes.
Don’t waste your time with this product. I spent almost an hour, trying to get it to connect to my router and it wouldn’t. It was sitting right next to the router and still wouldn’t connect to it. On top of that it took multiple tries for the camera to recognize the QR code on my phone.
you shouldn't show your QR code that everyone can hack into your caamera amigo.
