It was all planned out to get the No.1 spot and well done for achieving it. I remember Bruce saying at a gig, we can get No.1 spot (almost guaranteed) if everyone buys 1 or 2 variants. Shame they didn't have the balls to release it a week earlier for the Xmas No.1 spot, but as Cliff Richard was there, EMI wouldn't have allowed that, I suppose.
This was your first 7" single purchase in '94. To get some of the '80s vinyl before the internet came along, was a little awkward even for UK residents. You've done incredibly well since then, respect!

I was lucky. At the time I had a girlfriend who lived in Florence and I went there quite often. In Florence there were a couple of record shops that were very focused on used vinyl from all over the world, so I’ve got some of them that way. A few others from trade shows here and there, the rest after 2000 when e-commerce became easier
