- Our toddler does not stay in her bed at night. She constantly tries to get up out of bed and leave her room. We decide we have to do something! Watch ton see what method we use and if it works! Brian's idea is better cause you have to be a little stricter so ur child understands what you mean "by stay in bed"

when I got a new bed i also slept with my mom and dad but then after 2 or 3 days i slept alone so just wait she will get used to it

what you should do with layla is you are going to sit down and not say anything she will cry she will throw a fit you stay right where you are and you waite until she falls asleep if at she gets up you say bed time and then you say nothing and you keep walking her in by the hand and put her in the bed
That was hard for me to hear her cry 😢 because i would have already give in..... but keep it up Karen keep pushing Thru.
Oh my! My 18 month [now 6.5 and diagnosed adhd] climbed out of his crib so we transitioned very early and he would instantly get out of bed. We played that game for hours every night. My husband wouldn't be home from work until 1130pm. I ended every night in tears! I think you guys are doing wonderful! Keep it up! It makes it so much easier when the child can understand!
You poor thing! I want to cry some nights and I even have my husband home to help! But I feel like each night is getting better ...naps are a bit harder though!

It takes time with transiting them to sleep alone. My two girls are the same i have to lay them every night. But I put them to sleep then move to my bed. My boys use to be the same haha i would have to sing and read and pray for them every night. Then they'd fall asleep..... so just expect your nights helping her sleep. And its okay she well get it one day....

I am on meds that prevent migraines but they don’t really do very much besides the side effect of making me sleepy we recently bumped it up to two tablets to help me not have migraines

Hi K also got out of bed like I don’t know it’s night every time so I just come up say go back to bed and he was like no I don’t want it but I was like you have to go back to bed and if he got up again then I just said it’s either you go into a corner when you go to bed and he says I’ll go to bed so he went to bed but later you’re up again I put him in the corner in the default asleep so yeah and mine is three years old
