Great video! Your place is beautiful and I thought I saw some dahlias in there somewhere. I'll have to check out more of your videos.

Thanks and you've got some influence on things I am learning (plus I used to live down in your neck of the woods). The dahlias are my second favorite flower right now, behind roses... Growing season is showing signs of life and I am sure you are like me, and itching to get out more in the dirt and see the beauty of nature!

Great tips! Thank you so much! I'm starting a new gala apple tree that's almost a year old, I have an old apple tree, but honestly...... I've never really known how to prune it. Great video!

Pruning makes aassive difference...and watering with mulch laid down.
Early next spring, perhaps try grafting some other types of apples on it...I find it quite fascinating how this works in nature! I have a few friends with other varieties that I will get clippings from and see what takes on trees.

Grafting is something I've never done! But I'm definitely interested in trying....... how long do you think a fruit tree can remain in a pot?

@@juanisgarden5356 I have 2 pear trees that I bought as bare root from Costco this last year, and I have them in a large pots for the year. My plan is to Is plant them next Spring. If your pots are big enough, fruit trees can last a long time period.

Great! They are in large pots, since we're moving I was hoping to take them to the new property.
