Thanks. There are many ways to design these kinds of automatic layout, so pick one that suits you. I chose this particular design because it requires very little track material, only one signal and one contact piece per station track. I could then build a larger station with what I had. The downside is weak realism, a prototype station doesn't have signals in the middle.
@@anderspedersen4783 so nice of you to reply. Is there anything like a wiring diagram that's available for this sort of installation? A lot of people are wanting me to go with c track and digital control, but I grew up with M track and I love the look, feel, and sound of it.
@@anderspedersen4783 let's keep this simple. One circuit track per station rail, one circuit track at the first turnout entry...what model signals are those?
@@johncharlesgalleni4104 You could go digital on M track and get the best of both worlds. The kind of layout I'm presenting here is more of a study in how far you can take the Märklin analog system. The signals are mostly 7039. The best source of example signal wiring diagrams are probably the old Märklin signal books, they exist as scanned PDF's around the internet.
@@anderspedersen4783 I don't really the money right now to go digital. Everything I have is analog, plus I like the analog "feel." But I'm definitely beginning to get it - your setup is basically a "passing track" with multiple layers.
