In times of self doubt, global worry and depression in general, I often turn to this simple child's song for reassurance, peace & comfort. I may have to play it over and over perhaps even thru the night, but by the light of the morning's dawn my mind, heart & soul are restored with confidence, hope & renewed faith. Likewise, I also enjoy listening to the following 3 positive uplifting hymns by John Rutter: "Look To The Day" / "Look At The World" &c "For The Beauty Of The Earth"
1. Teach me to walk in the light of his love; Teach me to pray to my Father above; Teach me to know of the things that are right; Teach me, teach me to walk in the light. 2. Come, little child, and together we’ll learn Of his commandments, that we may return Home to his presence, to live in his sight- Always, always to walk in the light. 3. Father in Heaven, we thank thee this day For loving guidance to show us the way. Grateful, we praise thee with songs of delight! Gladly, gladly we’ll walk in the light.
As a kid, I'd look forward to the choir songs. I remember loving to hear them b/c they sounded so clear, pure and beautiful. I still feel the spirit whenever I listen to the Tabernacle choir. :) God bless every one of them!
What’s not to love, right? This number is a Childrens song, one that is beloved and taught because of its simplicity and beauty. It is written in my heart, having sung it for 51 years. Thank you for your generous compliment.....
Interesting you feel the need to let it be known to strangers online you’re not LDS instead of just listening to the song and not commenting or simply commenting you enjoyed the music. Who are you trying to convince?
@@asvardfjelstad5095 why are you trying to make it seem like he’s hiding something. This isn’t a court examination, if he says he’s not LDS, then he’s not LDS.
