If you think that your spouse is poisoning you, you even told friends that you are suspecting why would you continue in that house and drinking whatever she’s giving you?
The fact that she allegedly killed her husband and then went onto buying that house, throwing a party, writing a book and giving TV interviews leads me to believe that she was getting off on it all. It would have been smarter to just lay low, but she couldn't help herself. My heart goes out to the boys. 💔💔💔
I was today years old when I found out you can take out life insurance without the other person knowing. My husband and I have it, but I had no idea you could do it without the other person knowing or co-signing because obviously I’ve never attempted to do that. What kind of people know that and actually go through with it? And why are they able to?? In what instance would someone ever need insurance on YOUR life without you knowing about it?? How is this a thing??? Mind blown
For most it’s purely practical. If you kill them you can’t collect anyway. It would have saved my step mother a lot if financial hardship though. My Dad was afraid to discuss it, He passed away at 74 leaving her with social security and a few assets. Had she done this their homework would be paid off and her retirement more comfortable. If asked, my Dad would have approved of her taking the decision for them. Not everything is malicious.
Blood sucking family members can...they know all your info. I imagine they wouldn't have to kill you they'd just wait for you to die and collect the money... diabolical to wait around to make cash off a family members death. I saw something that looked similar.
I unexpectedly lost my dad at 12 years old. If I found out my mom had anything to do with it, I would hate her. I can't imagine the pain they do and the will have.
As someone who lost her husband while our son was an infant, I can't imagine for a moment inflicting that sort of pain on ones own children. Even in my own devastation my heart absolutely hurt for our son. Anyone who would purposely put their children through such a thing is sick and doesn't love them fully like most mothers do.
I feel for you. I lost my 3 year old brother, who died suffering through my narcissist mother's neglect, when l was 10. At that age children often, through magical thinking, think they are at least partially to blame for a tragedy.
Same story. I lost my dad at 12, suddenly, many years ago and I would never forgave my mom if she was a part of something. It's hard enough navigating life after that at such a tender age. I remember I would have these dreams that he was really alive and that my mom lied to me. I knew they weren't real but that alone in itself was very traumatic.
@@kathycamac1011 I still have dreams that my dad is alive, and I am 42. I have them once or twice a year, most of the time I dreamed he faked his death or he was in the CIA. Those dreams really mess with me, sometimes for hours, other times days.
I want to know how a psychopath like this is able to evolve to the point that she did, without being caught. To kill your husband, to go so far as to write a book about grief ‘for her children,’ to do a public interview and act as a doting, caring Mother - UNREAL. It’s so sad that there were enough red flags that he cut her out of the will, but there was nothing he could do legally about it, is insane. It reminds me of Charles Vallow. That man tried everything and was afraid enough that he changed his life insurance policy. Then he was murdered and hours later, she was having a pool party in the very house that he was murdered in. Those poor boys are now without their father and how will they ever trust anyone again when they learn that their own Mother went so far to right a book about grief when SHE killed him?
NO ! You’re wrong. People talking about this man staying with her after the attempted murders. Why would he do that? When men get divorced it can be worse than death. Wife gets everything, the house, alimony, child support. Wife gets rewarded for divorce. Men get a death sentence.
It’s insane how people can be so greedy about money. You already have excesses but it’s not enough. More of us need to express gratitude for the blessings we have and practice contentment in our lives.
Gail, I agree with your comment: * It seems he shared everything with his sister regarding his marriage, he shared with his sister that he believed his wife was "trying to kill him". * It seems that he trusted and loved his sister so much that it was his sister that he placed as the benifishery of his life insurance policy and not his wife.... * I Hope His Sister has the boys... Yes definitely his side of family I hope as well. Her family would probably force them to visit her in jail, since some parents have a demented sense of loyalty to their kids even when they've committed heinous acts.
This case really shocks me… how could a mother sit there and look at her children knowing she took their father’s life. Absolutely disgusting and inhumane.
Most Caucasian woman are inhumane and are soulless. They hide behind innocent stereotypes, but are of pure evil. Look at Johnny Depp, Emmitt Till, the Dalia Dippolito case the list is insane. Other ethnic groups of women are capable but Caucasian women will un-alive you and sip tea with you relatives like they didn't just kill someone.

The thing about poisoning is that it is one of the most impersonal methods of murder because they don't need to put their hands on the victim or put the poison in the body themselves. Psychologically, I think it makes it easier for this type of murderer to detach themselves from the victim and act like they are not connected, which may explain how she can put on the show of a grieving widow and mother so blatantly.
She loves no one but herself. How does a mother do that to her children and then write a book and further exploit them for financial gain. Disgusting! Prayers for the children and his family 🙏
I can’t be the only person blown away by the fact that she was able to change his beneficiary info without his consent. It makes no sense that she would be able to do that without his signature that was either done in person, considering this is a typical reason why people commit fraud. Why make it easier??
I change beneficiaries online for my policy So I assume she knew his user name and password although I think I remember they said she called Either way, laws need to be in place or policies changed to protect policy holders

In Denmark you cannot take an insurance on a person without them knowing. We would probably have these kind of problems here too if people could do that. Sad 😢
@@RaoulThomas007 Denmark is a small country, but one of the most digitalized countries in the world. Almost everything is signed digitally and you have to consent to everything and you will be contacted through an email which you only can log in. They sand a notification to your phone 📱 and you go that home page which all danish people have access to. You can’t directly log in to that homepage, but first have to go the the app and on that app gives you permission to log in. And that app is connected to your social security number. And they will probably give you a call to to make sure you are agreeing with your spouse taking up an insurance on you. It’s like almost impossible for someone to misuse your credit card because they are so many steps you have to through to make a purchase. Annoying sometimes, but 🤷♀️.
I don’t think it’s lately - people murdered people for insurance money since forever. It’s just that forensics have progressed. Look up the movie The Poisoners Handbook
I bet you, after his death, she began painting the narrative of "You know... I always suspected he was doing drugs or dealing drugs or SOMETHING. So sad, the poor kids..." destroying his reputation to appear as more of a victim. "He was just a rotten guy, you didn't deserve this sweetie." That's precisely the kind of thing she wants to hear. She sounds like a psychopathic narcissist. It's not only 'me me me,' but it even comes down to 'other people are only valuable to the point that I can get what I need out of them, and if they fail me in that then their life and health are worthless or outright undesired to exist because they deserve it. Life has no inherent value, their life has no way of improving my life, only their ability to do what I want them to do and to get them to give me what I want them to give me.' Very, very evil... that poor man, he should have gotten away from her.
He didn't pass away "unexpectedly." It was most certainly "expectedly," since she poisoned him. Ironically, "Are you with me?" Is something that would be said while trying to save someone's life, which she definitely was not doing.
My ex-wife was this EXACT type of person. She used my forged signature to get loans, buy items, ruin my credit, take over my accounts, change my will and bank accounts, tried to have my name taken off of the home i owned, tried to take out life insurance coverage on me and SO MUCH MORE. What an evil human being. Killing her children's father and watching her kids suffer while pretending NOT to be the DIRECT CAUSE!
I can't even imagine what that was like. I'm sorry you dealt with that. When I was young I never knew there were so many evil/crazy people out there. I dealt with some crazy while being married but to my knowledge no one was planning my murder or anything.
That sounds just like a movie plot. Hope you can share those crazy experience in some online forum or platform so others can learn to be wise when dealing with this psycopath type.
@amarteasi8506 No kidding! I've definitely shared my story with some that I know we're able to avoid a really messy situation just from a different perspective. Alot of people who have never been thru something like that can't even imagine it happening to them and when it does they are blindsided. But awareness goes a long way in preventing and recognizing red flags WAY before it gets to that point.
It’s terrifying how a psychopath can straight faced warp reality and lie. But just as shocking that he actually stayed with her after she had previously attempted to murder him twice before.
because she was a coercive controller, likely a narcissistic or sociopath...all of that means he was highly manipulated and it's like a form of mind control....you just don't 'see" it when you are in it....I call it a slow drop of poison into your mind over time...the level of emotional and psychological control is deep. Study all that a lot more and you'll then be able to understand this dynamic. I do because I lived it for many years with my ex-husband. Some of us "wake up" to what they are doing and it's horrifying when you see it, it's painful and completely traumatic, a lot of therapy and the passage of time helps. Of course, you see it all clearly in retrospect, all the things they did and said to keep you compliant.
What she did was horrible but I'm really wondering why he consumed any sort of drink she ever made for him if he already thought she was trying to poison him?
Greed. Pure & simple! She’s disgusting to do this to her children, as well. It should be law for one to be present or give consent for anyone to take out a life insurance policy on you.
Kind of like Charles Vallow, he too let others know about Lori threatening his life and switched his life insurance to his sister and Lori had a pool party righ after
@@PInk77W1didn’t this one also take life policies out on her kids as well?? I think the sister mentioned that in her statement in court. That she was a danger to her children.
I have often said that if a friend or family ever said, "If something ever happens to be it is ____" I am going to ask hard questions and then call law enforcement.
This story just keeps getting more sinister! My heart goes out to their three boys. They are essentially orphans now because their mother unalived their father and now she is most likely going to spend the rest of her life behind bars. I hope that their boys are in a loving and supportive home where they can begin to heal and process everything that they have had to endure. 💞
The first thing my parents did when they were headed for a divorce was cancel their life insurance policies and make it very clear. The person you marry is rarely the person you divorce. I wonder if he had told her his truth sooner, would he still be here ? Just tragic for those poor kids. Hoping they have the love, support and ongoing counselling, to move through and heal from all the trauma they have experienced.
She doesn't seem that bright as a criminal. She literally left evidence everywhere she went. This is probably the easiest case the police had their hands on in awhile. R.I.P Eric. I hope his children can get past this trauma of losing his dad in such a manner. To think about that she left the room when he was dying and just left him there until he passed away, She is a evil rotten human.
Man, it's NEVER best to stay in a relationship because of the kids. Both my parents are great people, but they were awful when together in the same room. My sister and I high-fived each other when we found out they were getting divorced. It's a tragedy that he didn't get out of there, because now the kids have NO parents.
Y’all, the man in this video who was murdered, I work with his cousin. She was telling me this type of stuff around last year that her and her family pretty much knew the entire time she did it because of all the red flags before. I was hoping this story would catch on because when she was telling me all this, i was mind blown!
To be fair, genuine grief is varied. Everyone experiences it differently. For my step mother buying and remodeling a house helped her process the deeply felt loss of my Dad. She didn’t live him less or miss him less. It gave her mind and hands something to do and since he was a carpenter a connection with him.
I understand the point of people grieving at different rates. But this lady had much more time to process her grieve during the time she was planning to murder him .
The fact she said "it took us all by shock" during her TV interview is a clue to her guilt. Naturally she would've said "it took us all by surprise" or "it was a huge shock" but she froze and stumbled whilst trying to play off his death
I thought that too the first time I saw that clip! She also says, "Me and my kids KINDA wrote this book," and she keeps saying, "You know?" after each statement. All tells imo.
Yeah, it sounded like she was going through the motions at points too, like "Here we go. I prepared for this. Let's get this outta the way so I can sell this book." Usually, when someone dies unexpectedly, you naturally just start talking from the heart. She sounded like she was going through some rehearsed speech with no emotions to match what happened.
I've been married to the same guy for thirty years... and frankly, he's kind of a jerk picnic. But we have four kids, and he's a decent father. I've never served him a Moscow Mule, and I'd never even think of putting even an aspirin in his Bud Light can. This woman is scary and dangerous. Her type could easily want to write a follow-up book about the grief of losing a child!
Exactly. The son who reminded her of her husband the most would be next and she would boo hoo hoo all over town AFTER cashing the life insurance on him next.
What puzzling me is this man knew for a while that she tried to kill him and he still chose to stay. I don’t get it if he was thinking about his kids he could have make an arrangement to connect with them 😢 I’m so sad and same time angry
This Is sooo horrible!!! How can you hurt the one you love?!? I will never ever get that!! I’m always protecting my husband and watching out for his health!!!

I’d like less stuff and a good relationship.
It was either a Maury or Sally Jesse episode years ago that exposed total strangers taking life insurance policies out on people they later killed.
Slayer statute!
Blood sucking family members can...they know all your info.
I imagine they wouldn't have to kill you they'd just wait for you to die and collect the money... diabolical to wait around to make cash off a family members death.
I saw something that looked similar.
Doesn’t the person the policy on have to initially sign the policy? Or is it different from state to state?
She really had it all. Poor guy, poor kids and family. What a horrible person.
Praying for all of you.
Never stay with someone who is trying to cause your demise.

* It seems that he trusted and loved his sister so much that it was his sister that he placed as the benifishery of his life insurance policy and not his wife....

Him dead and her in jail isn't a broken home? He obviously would rather die than leave her. He had issues also it seems.

Great point !
She loves no one but herself. How does a mother do that to her children and then write a book and further exploit them for financial gain. Disgusting! Prayers for the children and his family 🙏
