Whenever I go into Town I don't think I ever look at the buildings, I remember when most of them were black with soot, the City centre has changed so much and mostly for the better, nice video.
Where are the cars.... ?i grew up in manchester then moved to the second city of France which is carlocked.... shocked and pleasantly surprised to see so few cars in Manchester!
Deansgate is now one way which reduces the amount of cars. There is also quite a lot of roadworks and building work going on around that area so traffic flow is reduced. I agree though looking back, I didn’t realise at the time of filming! 😄
Not been to Manchester for about 8 years and this has jogged a few memories. Which is surprising as I went on a drinking day trip 😂 I watched this video the other day and got side tracked before I ended up posting a comment. Are you using a wide angle when filming this? I keep toying between wide angle and not and still can't work out what I prefer for my walks.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I don’t think I used a wide angle lens on this one - but I can’t really remember 🤣 I definitely did on the recent Chinatown video and the next few videos that are coming out. I can’t decide on whether the wide angle lens is beneficial or not. I’m still undecided!
@@TheWalkingExplorer Hard call isn't it. I feel like a lose some quality around the edges when I use wide angle, but when I don't I feel like I'm having to pan about too much to get everything in shot 🤣This video of Manchester feels "big", but then the buildings are big, which is why I asked. Will check out your latest upload tomorrow!
Interesting walk in Manchester! 😊
