My family is from Manchester. My Mother was born a quarter mile from Piccadilly on Mary St. which is now under the Arndale . The last time I was there was in 1987 and the changes are remarkable. My Mother and I walked all over. I remember her saying that where ever I saw a new building it was because it had been a bomb site from WW2. I will be returning in Aug with her grandson for his first visit to his Grans birthplace. I am really enjoying your Manchester videos, Thank you.
hello my friend watch the video and i love it... i am going to manchester this july 8th to 17th.. visiting my sister who lives there.. this will be my first time i cant wait lol
Omg! I’m in love from the first time I visited in 2018! I want to experience Christmas 🎄 in Manchester. From the photos and videos I’ve seen, it’s absolutely stunning.
I'm really glad to see you walking around the city of Manchester especially in the main area of the businesses there in the city center as always I like seeing the local stores, cafes and other places where you can eat and drink, this is another great walking tour of the Yorkshires until your next video Thank You GW TV.🇬🇧👋👋🇬🇧
Did you think Manchester was okay and the other trips in the country side and the beach is better on a day out always another great video 📹 again always
@GimbalWalkTV happy travels my favourite travel vloggs you made is kendal and Ambleside and whitby and York totally amazing 100% thanks for taking time out in your busy schedule 📅 showing us your great travel videos 📹 always
Mancunian here. Where are the homeless and spice addicts in this video? Manchester is unrecognisable from the place I grew up in. The no go zone of Piccadilly is spreading down Market Street and High Street. I was there on Saturday and there were two guys sleeping on a double mattress on the pavement in broad daylight. Shops are empty and boarded up on Deansgate, which used to be a prime shopping area. I couldn’t wait to get away from the place.
Love your videos been watching you for ages now, but gotta say I’m a bit disappointed by some of the trivia in this one. Manchester United and Man City are not the two BIGGEST teams in Manchester, they’re the ONLY two. Not counting teams in Greater Manchester obviously, because that’s completely different as most of them are cities/towns in their own right. Noel Gallagher did not live in Asia House, he lived in India House a 10th of a mile away on Whitworth St not Princess St. May seem like I’m nitpicking, but facts are facts. There are not over 2000 languages spoken in Manchester, you meant 200. It’s less than one mile from St. Peter’s Square to the Uni on Oxford Road, not 2 miles. You said Manchester is a very Metropolitan city when referring to the plethora of different accents. That’s not what the word Metropolitan means. Multicultural is the word you’re looking for. There were several others but I’d have to rewind and update this comment.
If you love Manchester so much you would know it’s not in North Yorkshire 😂 I am a Mancunian born and bred and it’s nowhere near Yorkshire North, East, South or West it’s in Lancashire Greater Manchester
Such a great city - so much to see and do there

Nice to see some parts of my home city that i rarely visit. A welcoming, vibrant place. Joshua did a great job!

One thing I’ve noticed about uk roads is that there are a lot of patching on the roads
It’s a lot worse recently too
So so bad
Manchester North Yorkshire ? last time I looked it was definitely Lancashire.
Ah no - apologies - typo!
Last time I checked it was in Greater Manchester.
Technically Manchester is on the edge of West Yorkshire as it’s only 30 mins away from Huddersfield by car
Edit bus yes it’s Lancashire 👍
Definitely Lancashire. Priceless lol

Hello people, is life still cheaper in Manchester?
What about renting (apartment) or buying groceries in Manchester?
Where are some of your favorite places in the northwest?
Too many to mention from Liverpool to Blackpool and beyond!
That wasn't 8.30am. The pubs were open.
Ah my error
There's a lot of graffiti & the pavements & roads look very scruffy.
Welcome to Manchester 🤣
✈️✈️✈️
Manchester isn't in North Yorkshire, its in Lancashire
It is
Correct
Mate try to lift your camera a bit. Oterwise half of the image is just pavements . . .
Thanks 🙏

Yeh was a typo - quite embarrassing but was in a rush
Correct
It's not Lancashire it's Greater Manchester. And it's "you're" not "your".

Hi mate,
I don't go looking to seek out spice addicts or homeless people.
I just film what's in front of me!
Stay happy
