This song was a goodbye gift from Bigbang before they enlist into Korean military service. The plan was that they were supposed to all enlist together. This song was made in preparation for us before 2016. It was supposed to be released with their last album M.A.D.E. However due to a postponed released and many reasons they couldn't enlist together and this song was released after Top, Gd, Taeyang and Daesung enlisted. Flower Road have many meanings to it and among others was how the leader Gdragon says that from the stage we V.I.Ps looks like a Flower Field to them and they wanted us to wait on this road that was full of flowers for them.
