Easier (proper) way to replace the pins is to remove the circlip, spin the nut off and removethe disc holder and knock out the broken pin. Replace disc holder, knock one pin from each side and then tighten up the nut..
OUCH!!!! Stripped some shock hubs, bent the 💩 out of knives and turtles and wiped out a few bar gears on chunks of down trees... Best one was years ago.. the old man cut off a 6" well casing!! Took a few gears out of the cutter bar.
We have hit some stones pretty hard back in the day with the old pull type mower too. Smashed some cutter are. Everyone has it happen at some point. Haha. Thanks for watching!
@@802Farmers luckily, we don't have much for rocks.. a few here and there.. usually 2' and bigger, so we find them with other equipment. But logs floating in in the winter is another thing.

You may have miss understood who put it in the field. It was someone on the farm. They forgot about it when they where supposed to move it. It was a complete accident. We Arn’t mad at anyone. But yes we have had someone in the past years ago try using metal rebar piece to destroy our chopper. Sadly there are people like that out there but luckly not common.
@@802FarmersI used to work on a corn farm and the neighbors hated it. One day they decided to put barbed wire in the corn right before harvest. Needless to say that was a mess and did a lot of damage. So sad how people do stuff like this. Like you said, luckily it’s not too common but does happen. I’m glad this was only an accident for you guys though!! That makes a bad situation somewhat better lol.
You fellas need or it would make life for ya a lot easier to invest in a pin punch we had the same happen to ours but was a deer be thankful it was a solid and not a deer
So was this an intentional act of sabotage ? I think once you find out who did this. it may be time to show them some new dance moves.😉😉 I hope the damage was not to bad..
Luckily it was a MF 51 Disc mower and it rolled in front Somehow missing the Discs As there was a small Drum on the Outside ,and the Front Tractor wheel Also made contact And hit the Blades only !! as it was on a slight Slope ,😡

These Big M are amazingly versatile: cutting grass as well as firewood processing! Wow! 😂😂
🤣. A machine of many uses
Happens to the best of us. Glad you didn't have any catastrophic damage, that could have been expensive.
Happens fast. We are glad the safe guard system worked
“WOW”. Never heard of that happening to anyone before, got lucky though. Thanks for the videos.
The pole was used for a project and the unnamed person forgot they left a piece in a random place. Lol. Happy nothing major happened.
Never before on RUclips!
Thx for sharing

Figured there was a little bit of a easier way. Was the first one we ever had to do.
14:30 ..need the punches w a ball end for roll pins….way easier on your fingers…js…🎉🎉🎉..cheers

We only have logs when it floods. But we go through and clean them up before mowing
@@802Farmers every winter.. but some fields aren't dry enough to get cleaned up until mid June.. when the gras is 4 or 5 feet tall..
The Big M bite off more than it could chew.
That she did. 🤣

Don't forget there's lefts and right on them hubs so when that roll pin shears off it can lift up if not it you'll have at lot more work lol
We did forget to mention that in the video 👍🏻
If the chain breaks or glides off the pole, you are both cut in halfs. Please keep a save distance!
That chain is rated for way higher than what we where pulling. We would rip the wing off before it snapped.
Garantie vorbei😂

We are pretty good at miss placing punches. Haha.
Sell the feller buncher. No use for it any more, now you have the Big M.
🤣🤣. New selling point for the Big M

It was just an accident. Nobody sabotaged us lucky. Only damage was the two roll pins.
I know its too late but you sure the wing is not coming with
We made sure not to go too crazy. Christoph the as able to bounce the chain still.
You need to buy a torque wrench to tight the nuts.
I ran a light pole partially through a Deere 4995 and I think the header was a 930.
You’ll have that sometimes. Lol
You should have safety glasses on roll pins can be replaced your eyes not so much! Just an observation!
I had a Full telegraph pole in a field years ago in my mower 😡
The mower probably didn’t like eating that.

Definitely could have been worse. Haha
Wht the hell 😅
🤣
Cut the pole up.
We did
Oh My God Put your face closer to the danger zone, can you?
Camera actually didn’t pick it up but I was fully behind a tractor tire. I just held the camera out to the side for a better angle.
Using degenerated language = those totally unnecessary f- words never ever helps. Especially not in public. It only shows what people are made of.
This totally unnecessary comment shows how judgmental you are….
