  • Tire Change by a Regular Rider with the Rabaconda Tire Changer.

I'm just a normal rider changing tires at home to save money. I'm not a mechanic.

    Tire: Michelin Pilot Road 6
    Wheel: BMW R1250GS Rear
This is my 4th tire change using this tool.

This tool was used to mount and remove Michelin Pilot Road 6 and Dunlop Trailmax Mission tires (TMM). No issues with either of them. I did fight it a bit the first time with the TMM's because they are very stiff and I had never used this tool before. But once a few lessons were learned, it is much easier!
I'm sure someone will ask. Both tires are great but they are for different purposes. I ride all year. The TMM's are great for mixed environment riding. The Pilot 6's are my go to for wet weather Pacific Northwest road riding.

I can see you're still getting acclimated to using the machine, but damn setup, tire removal, and install with a load of patience under 13 min is efen excellent!! Just have to say your video is the least painful that I've seen to date whether experienced at spooning MC tires or folks who have never even changed bicycle tubes when they were kids....you should search a few and I'm sure you'll agree with my comment they talk the talk but their operation is double of yours some even triple with alot of fails in between... your video alone would inspire that person that has no experience with changing out tires spooning or assistance with a machine

Great job. I am yet to use my new Rabaconda Street tire changer. I am waiting for cooler weather in Houston. I have looked at a ton of videos using this machine and I can relate to yours the best. 👍 Oh, the video was not boring, and I usually mute music anyway unless it is not the usual racket mismatched to the video's theme. 🙂

I figured I would buy one next time I need a new set of tires probably early spring. Looks super easy to use.

Might be some good sales during the off season. But definitely one of the best investments I've made for maintenance. You won't regret it!
