I’m running these on my Gladiator. 10,000 miles and loving them so far
Gladiator + Kenda = All sorts of goodness!
How are they in the mud?
I’m running these on my Tahoe. Awesome on/off/wet weather traction! Low road noise. Smooth ride.
How’s road handling?
I’m happy with them so far. Road noise is a little higher, but not by much compared to to the Firestones I was running. I love them in the snow/light-medium mud, and light-medium gravel. They’re good in the rain in 2WD, but great on my Tahoe in 4HI.
IMO, they’re a good AT terrain tire, but without the noise/price of an MT.
It’s a great tire. Quiet and comfortable on road and it’s grips like no other off road. I love these tires.
Totally agree!
I just got these in 33x10.5r17 on my 5th gen 4Runner. They claw through deep powder snow with ease, handle groomed snowy roads well, and are exceptionally quiet on the road.
I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an aggressive tire that can still behave on the pavement.
How are they? Are you liking them still? I’m going to put them on my 5th gen as well
@@Bananahammock88 close to 20k on them, still holding up well. Road tripped them all over the western US. They’ve seen a lot of abuse, hitting rocky trails here in Colorado every weekend. Bit of chunking on the lugs which is expected. Road noise has increased but I don’t care about that. So far, so good.
I’ve had these in 285/70/17 on my 4Runner for about a year and a half with nearly 50K miles. They have done well in all conditions but can get a little slick when it first start to rain. I do 5 tire rotation every 5K miles with oil change and they have plenty of tread left. Definitely much more road noise than my brother’s Falken Wildpeaks.
In my younger days i ran, bias ply mud tires, super swampers, baja claws etc, but now i appreciate comfort. I will putting these on my jeep in the next couple months.
Cant blame you on that one! Let us know when you are ready to scoop a set. I am sure we can find it!
Plow hood deep snow in the winter with the R/T and have taken them through some of the hardest trails in Moab, all with being quite on the highway and wearing great. Cant beat the 35x10.5 size either
For real I was shocked with mine!
Had a set of Kendas on my ranch truck. I will never forget that relentless GRIP. Never got stuck! Muddy sharp turns on my jeep trail, very cool tires!
Starting to see a LOT of these on rigs down here in the Southeast. These will likely be my next tire very soon!!!
Have these on my GX, switched from ridge grapplers. Love them, much quieter on road and about $70 cheaper per tire
How many miles you projecting to get out of them? Got a gx also and was looking to either get these or the ridge grapplers next week
I had these for one week on my 6-in lift and love them but they weren't balanced correctly so I'll allow someone to talk me into getting the best tire on the market which is the Nitto Ridge grappler and from the moment they drove it out I hated that tire & here I am 8 months later and I still hate it and I'm just going to chalk it up as a $2,000 loss and go back to the Kenda Klever. The ridge grapplers run 2 inches smaller than advertised so the 35s are like rolling on 33s if you measure them which made my truck look smaller
My 35x12.50r22 and 35x12.50r17’s work great. The only tire I recommend, and I’ve used many different sets in 40 years. Yes, they catch stones on gravel roads…
I love my Kenda tires! Last year my Jeep with Pro Comps would hide in the garage when there was any snow and ice on the roads embarrassed that it would get stuck everywhere. Now with these Kendra’s it eats snow and ice easily!
Kenda tires are hands down my go to! Especially because of their ability to handle the winter climate up here in Wisconsin! 😂🤘
Have had the Kenda R/T's for one yr now and I love them! Best set of tires I've owned; over 35 yrs of driving...its offroad capabilities are amazing...also, the noise...so much quieter than regular M/T's. I will prob never run anything else.
Good to hear!!! Those Kendas are incredibly popular for a reason! 👌🔥
I have these on my Rebel. I've wheeled in them quite a bit and I love them. I've been running them for about 10k miles now
How has the tread life held up?
@@dalephillips8250 great actually. They still look new
@@dirtsailoroff-road5580 Thanks for the info
I’m currently running them on my 2019 F150. And they are AMAZING!
We love them too!
How are they in mud?
@@dad3562 I’ve only been though the mud once with them so far and they worked very well.
I love these been running 35x10.50 on my stock steel wheels and they perform exceptionally on just about any terrain!
I have been watching these tires for a bit now. Price reason was why. Now that you’ve done these reviews past few days I’m just gonna take the plunge. It’s not like I’m gonna win a set. Lol but good luck to everyone👍🏻
Well hey...if you do win then you have an extra set! Life would be good, real good!
I run these tires on my hound truck, A set will last about a year. They are a great snow tire and dry ground off road tire. Not a real great mud tire unless you spin them at high speed to clean them out. 35-12.50-17 were about 200 per tire a year ago, now they are 285 a tire after shipping. Trailbuilt's price is higher than shopping elsewhere.
How many miles in that year?
@@bizzle4819 28k
I would recommend these tires. I bought 4. 285 70R 17LT for my lifted. 2002. Ford F-150 smooth on the road wet or dry good traction in mud dirt air them down for snow or sand or rock. Good luck with all 👍
Thanks for sharing!
Just ordered my second set. I typically buy new tires every spring and these are the first tire I’ve purchased a second set in a couple years. Great all around tire if you like to wheel & roll tarmac.
Good choice!
How many miles were you able to get out of them and what type of vehicle to you have them on? Tire size?
I second Dale's question, my biggest concern about budget brand tires is the wear life. I'm definitely looking to get at least 30k out of them on my supercrew f150
How are they in mud?
@@dad3562 I have the Kenda Kleaver RT 10 ply tires on my Ram 2500 4/4 HEMI an these tire are Awesome Off-Road" This is my first set of them an I Will be getting another Set of These when they wear out. Great Tires'
Great looking Tire!
They sure are!
Looks like a great replacement for my Wildpeaks when the time comes. Keep the tire vids coming.
Thanks Steven!
I bought them over year ago for 138 per tire to door and they are great tires, tuff and wear great, balanced with 3oz or less and compete with tires 3 time as much!
Try buying them now, they're almost 300, not worth that
I just ordered my 2nd set of 33/10.50/17 klever, they are smooth and quite tires , keeping them rotated is key… love them
How many miles did you get out of the first set?
That look great and l hope they are available in Australia, the sidewall looks strong is that the case, sidewall damage is common on our outback tracks, sharp tree roots and rocks are a major problem, currently running General tyres on my 4x4 pickup, cheers,Neil.
It’s hard for me to believe it was just one size that made them miss the snowflake. Why would they not alter the tire slightly to get it? Or not offer that one size? Would have to be a crazy popular size and then theoretically discount a lot of people. The fact that it doesn’t have the snowflake takes it off the list for me. Too bad as they sound pretty good.
Not unreasonable. Areas near me are legally requiring winter tires. No snowflake, doesn't qualify, no matter how great they are.
Mickey Thompson Baja boss at on 2012 ram 2500. Awesome tires. Aggressive and really quiet. Best tire I have ever had
Iv had a set of 33x12.5s on my ZJ for about a year and they've been awesome!! Great video💪
I had the same size on my Chevy what tire pressure do you use for normal driving on city ?
Still waiting for the 37's, I have these on my 5th gen RAM 3500 and they have been great so far. Not much more noise than my HT's
Personally I like tire noise. Let’s people know your coming , and the wild things that like to jump out in front don’t seem to do that. Hahahahaha
They are coming!!!!
How are they in mud?
@@dad3562 not a whole lot of experience in the mud, but I can say they are for sure better than Firestone HT tires. I have noticed on some tread blocks the sipeing does not go deep into the block and will wear off before others.
@@JEEPIMPACT thank you! Roger that
Have these in 285/70/17 on my GX. Can’t say enough good things about them. It’s taken all the punishment I’ve thrown at it. I wish they made 285/75 or 295/70 sizes.
I got a pair of 285/55/20 on my 2wd truck and I haven't been stuck at the mud parks yet. Love these tires.
I just bought my first set of klever rt's 33x10.50x17 for my 2020 ram 2500, can't wait to get them on and try them out
How are these tires working on a heavy truck ?
@@scout473 seem to be working good, just hauled a 16' box trailer the other day went great...
Any balancing issues?? I also have a 2500 and have a vibration at 60-70 mph, thanks
@@Juiced791 the balanced version well, they are actually very smooth and quite, my only problem is they wore fast, I put them on at 8000 miles and pulled them off at 20000 and they were getting really close to 1/4 tread left... only took them off to save them for winter...
I just bought the landspyder all terrain tires for my 2011 jeep grand Cherokee and they are amazing, especially in deep snow
Really starting to "NOT LIKE THIS CHANNEL"!! Why? Because you show so many GREAT & GOOD AT tires. This makes my purchasing a set even harder. I want a great set of tires that can handle all types of terrain without the worry about kicking myself in the ass. Keep up the excellent work Trail Built Off Road!!
Man! What a roller coaster of a comment this was HAHA
@@TrailBuilt Truth is often funny when approached from a constructive angle. LOL
These are my winter tires for sure/ Mickey Ts Baja Boss, Absolut best offroad Anything tire.
Did you know that all their sizes in the A/T are 3 peak certified EXCEPT the 37x13.5x22 but are built the same! And you can't find a set anywhere in the US right now!!
Have a set of 35/12.50’s on my Ram 2500 and like them plus the price was pretty good
Hey did you have a hard time balancing them at first ? Ive got 24k on the truck and I’m getting a vibration at 60 to 70 mph. Thanks man
Could ya do a video on the AT2 ?
I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler sport and been looking for a good set of tires and I’ve been noticing that you guys talk about this tire a lot and I like what I’m hearing about them, think I’m gonna go with these tires instead of the Falken wildpeak
I’ve been loyal for years to the BFG KO’s or now it’s the KO2. I’ve used the mud terrain and have worked out decent for my needs.which are load range E tire. I’ve herd of higher load range and am interested. But never could fine the size I like. I reside in Florida and do what’s necessary to stay out of the cold.
Just got a set of klever at2's, they are impressive tires.
Just ordered 35x10.50s for my Wrangler. Really excited!
Good choice! We love them!
Are they Accurate tire size if am running 35x12.50r20
these tires used to be awesome but now they cost more than bfg ko2 which is insane
I dunno, the Falken Wildpeaks seem to be a better bargain with all the performance these offer.
I had my wildpeak at3 and It's very quite coming from road tires on my ram truck that I lifted
Wildpeak get extremely loud north of 35k
In a 17" wheel the 35 falkens are more expensive than bfg
35” atw3 are stilling around $340 now, even more than KO2……no thanks.
I’ve ran ran AT3, KO2, and I’ve been running Kenda Klever R/T’s for ~10k miles. My experience is KO2 and the Kenda’s are equal in overall traction in all conditions. AT3 is a nice tire if you mainly stay on pavement.
These or Mickey Thompson Baja boss at? Price doesn’t matter.
Snow, wet and dry performance, and mileage.
275/55r20
We love these Kendas!
I just ordered them, putting them on my 2021 jeep grandcherokee L
Well for the same price i can get the duratracs with the 3 peak
These are 3 peak
@@outdoorbluecollarlife nope there not. he even states it that it didn't pass one tire size but doesn't state which tire size but still if its not on zee tire then its not rated ....
@@stevewalker412 that's my mistake. I was thinking of the sidewall ply
All but one size. And that one size was only a few points off. We run these in Wisconsin and they control the snowy conditions perfectly
@@TrailBuilt yes you did say that ... that being said companies say things all the time that are missleading and if they had the rating for all but one size in my eyes it would be profitable to have that PROOF and 3 peak rating on my tires and leave the one off ...just very misleading as to the other tire manufacturers who do actually have this rating stamped on there tires ... other then that great videos....
It looks the tread depth not deep, how it compare to the competitors?
They are deep
Luv my Kenda Kleaver RT 10 ply tires on my Ram 2500 4/4 HEMI
Any have any experience with these vs the wildpeak at3w on ice/snow/wet roads? Or the klever at
The AT3W's are one of the best tires for handling snowy and wet roads. The Klever AT is great too, but we see more reviews about the AT3W's being the king of snowy and wet roads.
I've spent months researching tires, with only one concern in mind. Not cost, not tread design, not tread life, not looks, not brand or nation of origin. The one thing that matters most is which has the most resistance to sidewall damage; cuts and punctures. That's the thing you can't overcome with a winch, or tire chains, or money, or lockers, or lift kits. When it's time to go, you may not have time or workspace to change a flat. Or you may be too injured.
The current best, at any price, is the BFG KM3. Unless Kenda shows proof of this tire doing better at the same tests BFG shows, this is a dud to be avoided.
So what your saying is I have to buy the wheels to get the free mounting and balancing for kenda tyres😂
You just have to buy any wheel and tire package together for us to mount and balance it for free!
Loved my Kendas but they've made the prices so high might aswell buy nitto ridge grapplers.
Yeah that is the tough part about Kendas and I love them!
Are they better on road, quiter and better fuel consumption than the yokohama g015s??
100% I would say yes the Kenda tires are better in those aspects!
For those that can hold out on a new tire purchase, it will help the price go back down.
How come you guys don't do a review on the HANKOOK DYNAPRO MT2???
I went with the kenda klever at2 because these didn’t have the triple peak rating and no mileage warranty
Any road vibrations with the at2?
Been running the 35x12.50r18 klever r/t on my tundra and love them. Replaced my 37x13.50r18 Cooper stt pro
How many miles do you have on them? One guy complained that they don't last very long.
@@dalephillips8250 only about 5k so far so longevity wise I dont have anything to go off of. I will go measure what depth they're at here in a little bit though.
Are you still running these on your tundra, I see this comment is from a year ago, how did they wear?
Do they have a mileage warranty or are they to similar to a gripper tire and don’t have one
Kendas last no time! Owned one set and will never own another
Ive got a set with 50,000 miles and they still have 12/32 tread deapth
How’s the highway noise on these? I ordered mine today
At highway speed they handle the noise better than others! They still have noise but it is nothing terrible!
@@TrailBuilt ok thank you very much once I get them I will install them and See how they are but so far everything sounds good I have some duratrac ones at the moment
These tires are badass.. Just put them on my truck...
Is there a reason that this video shows clips of a jeep with different tires than is being discussed? I saw clips with BFG km3’s and what looked like another brand as well.
Will they be available in 40” though?
Not currently! 37 is coming out soon!
Too bad they only come in certain sizes and not for all vehicles! I'm going with BFG KO2 in a 285/75 R16 for my 3rd gen 4runner! It's my daily, so I need to get something that is not only proven, but will last a while! We drive alot here in California!
Klever's are nice, but I like the Trail Hog which are 3 Peak rated. Ever do a video on the Kanati Trail Hog?
We sure have! These Kenda's are as close to 3 Peak as you can get! Most sizes are actually passed the 3 Peak test!
I have the Kenda Klever A/T2's. They are amazing! And the ARE 3 peak rated and come with a 50k-60k warranty depending on load rating. Might want to check out the A/T2's.
Looks good. Any chance they offer it in a 37x12.5x17 version?
It is coming soon! Check out our video on the 37" Kenda Tire!
They should make a 4ply sl for lighter weight, increasing gas mileage
Now that would be a huge selling point, great suggestion now if only they were in these comments too! 😂
running these on my Mitsubishi Montero....... lot of tire for $600 set
superior to previous Falken at3
Wanted it, but it doesn’t have the proper load rating
I do have a question!
I just got Kenda Klever RT’s what tire pressure should I run them just for driving around town?
Right now the place them on has them 65psi they seem to ride very stiff!
What is the size that didn’t pass the 3 peak test?
Kenda offers lt235/85/16 on all their other off/at tires.. except this new one. #sad
Has anyone had balancing issues. I had heard they do not balance well
Is that a Highlander behind you? I remember a while back one of the guys did a video talking about getting something like a Highlander or a 4Runner. I have a 4Runner, so I replied with my take on the 4R. I imagine if that the Highlander, that's what they got. I would love to see a video on it!
I just got my set and was told they are hard to balance, is this true?
Wouldn't say that at all!
How are these against Nitto Ridge Grappler?
Do these have the different sidewall on each side ? One more aggressive?
Yes!
Price on these tires have gone up from just 2 weeks ago. They jumped like 280
For a set of 4
I will check on our end, but there are inventory issues all over!
unfortunately the price of everything is inflating
@@big4g63t yeah. I bought my 35x12.50 at just the right time. I got them two days b4 the price changed and got 4 for just under 1k. I didnt get them from trail built but at the time they were selling them for 989 i think was the subtotal and my local shop was at 1080. And they priced matched and beat their price because out the door was 999.
Try E bay
How often you have to balance them?
I had to throw them out of the running because they don't make a 37.... maybe they will in the future
Should be released soon!
How do they do in mud?
Would you consider sending me four of these tires so I can try them out on my Ram ProMaster?
I will do a review on them on my upcoming RUclips channel.
what size didnt pass?
My local supplier told me they are an absolute bitch to balance and they steered me away from them . Any thoughts on that ?
Do they wear well while towing?
Is the siping full depth or just partial?
How about the kleaver AT2?
How are these as a daily driver ??
We haven’t had any complaints.
If you live in a state with chain control rules, no 3 peak means you can be forced to chain up. No thanks. General grabbers have one size that doesn't meet the 3 peak requirement. They just label that tire as not having the 3 peak. I think the BFG all terrains also have a few sizes that don't have the 3 peak symbol.
Yours look like bfg
At3 best all terrain Toyo et or mt for rest
What mileage
They raised the price on them, not worth the money anymore
162 for 31s for my Jeep that's cheap
33s are now 250+
11.6 or less 3peaks
No 3PMSF, no buying. EXO Grapplers
i prefer my mickey baja boss at's
I'm interested in maybe finding some for my super duty!
Can‘t drive them! We need 3pmsf symbol to be legally allowed to drive them in winter! PLEASE KENDA bring them with snowflake symbol to europe!! Would be the first tire company to bring a rated winter OFFROAD tire! We drive offroad during winter times TOO! And all we have are all terrain tires 😒
They are one of the best winter tires we have used here at Trailbuilt!
American made tire?
Hell no! China
