I uploaded my first track a few days ago, and I received an email stating, "We've been notified that one or more of your songs may contain remixes, samples, or other audio that may not be 100% yours." But, I strongly dispute this claim as I am confident that the composition is entirely my own and I have not used any external samples. I have mailed them the same but there's no reply from them yet. Until now, a yellow circle appears next to the song, and it has not been distributed. So wanted to know that should I wait for few more days for my single to be released on other stores or just abort it. And can you suggest me other steps which I can take except remaking my whole song.
If you're confident that your song has no samples or audio from other songs, you should be fine once it is manually reviewed, but it can take a little while. You can try contacting DistroKid again if you haven't heard back. studiolivetoday.com/distrokid

Quick question, I re-uploaded my album saying it was released June 10th and added the ISRC codes from the previous one and now I’ve got all the positive emails and my album is green but I can’t find it anywhere. Is the pre-save email the second to last email before I get one saying “Live”
Mine upload has a yellow dot next to it. I received an email regarding my song was process and my cover art went through but my song still hasn't uploaded. I haven't received an additional emails regarding my track. Just a couple of questions. How long does it take for a track to drop through distro kid? How will I know when it is up on streaming platforms such as apple music?

hey its been 3 days every good email came through even when i click on hyperflow it gives me pre save spotify link but the circle is stilll yellow. is that normal?
@@PeteJohnsMusic yes i sent a email a few days ago however still haven't got a reply, quite frustrating as its stayed yellow but says to just keep waiting? if i click onto Spotify picture it says there's a copywrite issue with one track however all my samples i have full rights over with Splice, seems very stupid that using a sample you pay for and have rights for will stop the album being uploaded and there's no customer service besides email ? idk where to go from here unless i have to cut my song out and do this all again which isnt fair cause i should be able to use a sample i have rights to
My biggest issue is I do all the things, add all the files, and there is a button at the bottom as soon as I hit continue it always turns to try again. I would love to but I have no visual represenation of what is wrong soo....
@@PeteJohnsMusic Finally did just kept trying til stopped bugging out was weird. I thought there was no loading bars and they just left you in the dark like they do when they say your lyrics are wrong but no just some bug is all I can figure.
How long should i wait to get other links for stores, i did a pre-order for my upcoming album. For now i would like to share a link to Pre-Order the album on itunes/apple music but on hyperfollow there is only a option for Spotify pre-save.

@@Chris-iw3yk Hey using distrokid now did you get this issue fixed? If so how? Also does distrokid just not like sampling at all?
@@Sweetmilk nope they never fixed it... i just removed songs with any samples and made new ones unfortunately

What if they email you saying a song may contain samples but it actually dosent? All songs have already been processed and i own the rights.

It’s usually around 2-3 days. Sometimes a week or two for your first release.
