the whole situation of boycott with loona is about their ex company BBC (blockberry creative) that didn't pay them at all during all those years , they made the loona girls do extreme diets, forcing them into things they didn't liked (hair styles and such) , made them practice without stop even when you could tell they were kinda hurt or tired , they didn't let them go out more than 20 minutes at time and what else that we don't know
so in 2021 ,Chuu decided to sue the company but they only attacked back at her , tuck her out of the group and sued her in response , after sometime almost all the girls leaved the company and sue it too (it was clear it was kinda of a "we all leave together" type of situation for them 9 the others that didn't it was only because they couldn't.
fans were already throwing shade at the company for a long time so when chuu leaved Orbits (loona fanbase name) got all together and started a big boycott of the company , from not streaming the music on any platform, to not go to concerts
a lot of people where insure about it because it could had affected the girls too but it was clear that it was just for the best
they clearly said it themselves a few times on chats with fans in a vague way and they were already not getting money so ...
now they are all free and in differents companys , after a few bad news they actually all win the lawsuits and can continue with their careers normally
they are divided now but they still are all close and supportive, it doesn't feel too different and it's gonna take time but we are gonna have them all together one day , i a way ore the other
