I've actually been to his restaurant his fried chicken was so good. I used to think nothing will beat KFC until I've been to his restaurant lol it was so crunchy and just good. It's amazing. Edit: It doesn't stop there. Wait until you get to try the sauce. The fact the sauce goes well with the fried chicken shows how talented he is as a cook. Because if you ask me I don't really like sauce on my fried chicken but David made it work.
I wish they would release a cook book with contestants' recipes. There are a ton of great ideas but it'll be hard to try and make what they did without a deeper idea of their ingredients
Dude yes this is such a great idea! Top 3 dishes from every episode and finale dishes. I'm sure it couldn't fill every season in 1 book but it could have the winning dishes from the stress test too.
When Chef Michael complimented Nadia's food, and she replied "thank you, chef," she looks down and smiles and looked so so proud of herself. That almost made me cry! Such a rewarding feeling when your hard work pays off!
It's just joe, in USA that's mean. Gordon will sometimes insult you but also give you good feedback, Graham is nice, but Joe will violently verbally assault you with malicious intent until he emotional destroys you.
I love when the Judge that spice is not just about heat fiery hot that you can get from chillies and another tons of chillies. For someone who is not use to eating spicy dishes this hits home.. Our food may not be spicy but it's definitely NOT bland either.
10:32 - I personally prefer a few lumps in my mashed potatoes. Don't get me wrong, smoothness is important, but the occasional lump of potato gives them a texture that I really like.
Husband is (thankfully) very much the same. My grandma taught me how to do whipped potatoes that were very smooth. But my husband likes the "quick ones" I do with red potatoes. We leave the skins on, and hand mash with butter, milk, salt, pepper and a wee bit of garlic. And I use a hand masher. They used to make them like that when I was in college. Having the texture makes it for him. So I'm glad.
The thing with US shows is that they usually want more drama. The actual cooking is less important compared to for example the australian or canadian version. So they probably invite different skill levels and characters to the auditions to get a better mix of skill on one hand and "bad/dumb/funny/aggressive" on the other hand.
@@TheNuggzt3r Yeah, just compare the british and american Kitchen Nightmares, and you can see that clearly, even thought it's Ramsay in both the shows have completely different vibes

I think it's because they had already tried Matt's dish and his egg was overcooked. Hence why come her turn she suspected it was overcooked as she had the same cook time on the egg.

I've watched all of these episodes, the USA ones, and the UK ones. I love them and have learnt a lot. There needs to be a season 8 of the Canadian one!!!
I think Trevor is the most deserved master chef winner ever. He works hard, he knows what to do if it's messed up, most importantly he is handsome! 😂❤️
A clear difference between master chef canada and master chef usa. In usa here contestents chew each other out and are so aggressive and are almost never encouraging to each other. I guess Canada has kinder people

It's kinda funny and sad at the same time how Joe singlehandedly ruined Masterchef USA's judges reputations.
It’s Canadian Master Chef… these are the meanest chefs around in Canada.
the masterchef in usa likes to have drama to get more engagement
