Had some experience both with Syrian hamsters and chinchillas. The wheels for chinchillas are very silent as they are usually made with very reliable joints from car engines and well fitted. The wheels for hamsters are much smaller, lighter and are very noisy.
Yeah my chinchilla has a similar wheel made out of metal called a chin spin, The spinning itself doesn't make that loud of a noise but they end up rattling the whole cage so it makes this terrible ruckus.

I don't have one as a pet, but honestly if I had the right resources, the right home, and the right place to keep a chinchilla, I'd definitely be very happy, lol.
Nice video, but always in these compilations I see some cases of neglect. For example at 1:38 @chinchillababies it seems that the two fluffy Chins have eaten quite a lot of cartoon ! I know cartoons are cheap but also they contain lots of chemicals not good for chins. In long term they get hurt by those chemicals. Please use wood for such purposes. Thanks :D, May your chinchillas get fluffier :D
Why they like dustbath? I heard parasites cannot be able to survive into their skin because of density of their hairs. Does dustbath make them dirty? How they can cleance themselves after that?

I love the idea behind the compilation, however I find some things are not okay and should be avoided in videos like this because people would think its fine to give your chin cardboard for example. It’s not!! It’s visible on one of the videos with the 2 chinnies playing that they chewed on the cardboard, which is poisonous. One of the cages is fully plastic with nothing covering it. There is a chin with an apple slice which is outrageous. One of them is also outside. I may not be the perfect chin mom but I’m trying to give them the best life possible, videos like this can be misleading for people who are in doubt of what is wrong and right for a chin. Much love for you, I think you make amazing videos and very informational too!
Hi there! This video is so adorable! I just wanted to ask you a question... me and my Twin sister have 4 chinchillas at the moment. 2 boys, 2 girls. The boys are currently sharing the same cage. But the girls at close together in separate cages. They are not getting along very well, and our first chinchilla has been being pretty mean to the other girl. She’s been biting me and my twin sister as well. But we don’t know what we are doing wrong. If you can give us any advice on how to fix this problem, that would be great! :)
Lilly Barlow If they are fighting or showing any signs of hostility towards one another, I suggest separating them immediately. You really don’t want to run the risk of them getting into a big fight and getting hurt. The way you first introduce two chins together is very important because you want to do it right and slowly ease them into the bonding process so they can properly adjust to one another. For now just separate them and give them some time to cool off before restarting the bonding process. Hope this helps💕

A Chinnie can have a apple slice, it is something I wouldn't do but it is not super dangerous if you only give them a little bit of a apple slice.
