Today's challenge to make interesting images. Although I planned to create different images, the result was completely different than I expected. Images turned to be soft and blurry.

I have this lens as it was for the Praktina Mount, so I got the adapter for the Fuji X mount, and that the results were most impressive, and the contrast, and colors were natural. Great lens in both Film, and Digital. I am getting more appreciated to German Optics, wish that these companies were still in business - Yes names like Zeiss, and Leitz are familiar today , But there were other Companies from as from 1900's to 1950's that were more to the Cinema as they did for still shooting, and you have to look very carefully, and hard to find them... Good Video..

Hi . Your upload the closest to the lens I have. One snag as I have an e mount Sony. I'm stuck with which adapter to use. Any suggestions ?. Some nice lens flares there and I love the scenery.

Hi, that silver lens (A Schacht Ulm R Travelon) is M42 amount. If you got M42 screw thread (Some photographers call it a Pentax thread. Pentax doesn't have anything to do with M42 thread, It was invented by Zeiss as Pentax name.) If you got M42 then you need Sony E to M42 adapter. It depends on what lens mount you got. If you got Exakta bayonet mount then you need Sony E to Exakta. Note that the Exakta bayonet Is smaller in demeter than Pentina
See this video you can see the lens mount difference I compared 3 A Schacht Ulm R Travelon's
