I’ve been thinking about these. I have an 15’ ultimate and the seats are not nearly form fitting enough to keep you planted. Plus I constantly find my butt sliding forward despite seat position.

Your genesis is getting old enough that you might want to look into replacing tail light seals before the trunk floods your interior! Glad to see you uploading again
I did that when I installed the Spec-d tail lights.

I installed a set of Braum seats with the Planted brackets last year in my Celica. I would use both brands again. I don't think I`ll change the seats in my Genesis R-Spec for some time though. Nice video was hoping to see the drivers seat haha. How are you liking the seats?
I bought the seats because my genny’s seat made a lot of cracking an ticking noise. They look awesome and sit very low and you feel the road more. But I have to say the mechanism for the backpart is pretty flexible and makes a lot of ticking noises.. its the handle that makes the ticking everytime you brake. But also a lot of bouncing back and forth when braking and accelerating. Have to mention I’m 193cm 115kg. But still. The OEM’s didn’t move that much.

Just ordered mine this morning. It's amazing how things work, couldn't find damn near anything on these seats short of intentionally misspelling and etc lol. NOW I simply start THINKING OF typing "alpha x" and it finished the word after hitting "A" and 3000 videos, web results, reviews, etc appear....smh. well they look good, hope the planted brackets for the S10 sit higher than those. The ENTIRE reason I didn't go with the maroon Elite X ( they just looked like factory C5 seats/upgraded to me, and I think would look killer in my s10) but went with these as the elite looked so much lower and gangster leaned to me. I sit very upright, even did in my SCCA 65 gt350 clone, it's just the way I like to sit/see. I'll look but might as well ask..1 year review?
Thinking about putting some in my Gen Coupe too. Have you had any decently long car drives with them? How did your butt and back feel after. How about just around town?

How is it getting in and out of the back seat?
Same as stock
@@VehicleEvolution I don't think so! But I could be wrong. The stock genesis seats are made for quick fold and unfolding with the handle from the back of the seat. These new seats look like a one-piece. Sliding it forward isn't very efficient, and also doesn't give you that big gap for a mildly adult to go in.
They still fold forward and can slide as well. The only thing they don’t have is that lever on the back to fold them forward like the stock. Otherwise you have just as much room to get in and out of the back seat as you do with the stock seats.

You could put these in but you’d lose the heated function. These seats don’t have a heating element.
Any airbag sensors? What did you do to fix it if there was? You never followed up on it and now I’m worrying haha 🥹
