Condemned unto death stood up for God. 2. Daniel 3. The thief on the cross preached the 3 angels message. Rebuking the other who had joined the other in mocking and HURLING INSULTS at Jesus. 1. He revealed that Jesus was not only the Son of God but was God! "Don't you even fear GOD, seeing that we are serving the same sentence as this man? 2. "He has done nothing wrong!" 3. "We are justly condemned" 4. Then he turned to Jesus and said, "LORD remember me WHEN you return into your kingdom" NOTE: This thief was preached as Jesus, heaven and earth stood and listened. He testified about him. The whole universe watched even as he broke the bread of life who was besides him. The pulpit was the cross! a) He foresaw Christ's 2nd Advent! b) He foresaw Christ coming as a King c) He foresaw life beyond the cross d) He foresaw Christ's resurrection e) He foresaw Christ's reigning forever f) He foresaw Christ the Sacrificial Lamb This to me has been the greatest gospel that has ever been preached in the presence of the King of the Universe. At that time not even a disciple of Jesus was around. When the whole world stood to mock Jesus the thief on the cross showed the whole world who Jesus was. Then Jesus confirmed by telling him, "Surely I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise" So when I look at the thief on the cross, I see God's saving power. I disagree about that song. The song is about whatever trial you're going through it's still the safest place bc if you die, you die in Jesus! Okay so the rest of the words to the song is...... The safest place in the whole wide world is in the will of God. Though trials be great and the way seems hard it's in the will of God. It may be on a battle front or in the prison walls. But wherever it may be, if God says go.....go...go A battle front is not safe but if God puts you there youre in His hands.. .
