    Thank you so much. I was finding it so difficult to understand the exact feeling of ~(으)ㄴ/는 편이다. You made it so clear and understandable.
    지금 잘 이해하는 편이에요. ^^
    (Sorry if my sentence is not 100% correct.)
    감사합니다~

    Hi Professor. I am taking Korean 3 at LACC and bc of the pandemic we are online. Everyone is using your videos, as the online instruction is different than yours. We will be online only for Korean 4, and looking forward to your videos. I wonder if you would be willing to upload more videos as supplemental?

    선생님 고마워요.
    그렇게 하면 "verb + ㄴ/은 편이다" and "-편이였다" 어떻게 달라요?
    Both are past tense.

    안녕하세요
    How can we talk about being on the side of something in the past, for example: I was on the side of exercise when I was a student..???
    감사합니다

    • @robustfella
      @robustfella 5 лет назад +1

      Hello. When you want to say you were on the exercise side when you were a student, sentence should be predicated by the first sentence, 그래서, 제가 학생였을 때 운동을 편이에요. Because you're speaking in the context of being student in the past. It should also be possible to attach 편였어요 at the end, but i am not 100% sure about the sentence being correct in this connection.

    • @ffpp3667
      @ffpp3667 5 лет назад +1

      @@robustfella 정말 감사합니다..However in what context can I say 운동한 편였어요 if I may ask?

    • @robustfella
      @robustfella 5 лет назад +1

      @@ffpp3667 In this case, 편 is acting as a noun with 이다, being modified by the 운동하다 + -ㄴ/은 것 in the past. ( Really can't think of better scenatio here, but it's better than nothing ㄱㄱ) So imagine a situation where friend sees a picture of you being in a group and he asks you which group is that, so you answer as: 재가 운동한 편였어요( this was the group i exercised in)

    • @robustfella
      @robustfella 5 лет назад +3

      Keep in mind, group is not a proper translation for 편, still think about it as side
