Without many spoilers, I'll just leave these 2 voice-overs we got prior to her release: "Citlali's Hobbies: My life is nearly completely devoid of meaning. Nothing remains but groggy stupor after sleeping, delusional fantasies from novels, and the comfort at the bottom of a bottle." "Citlali's Troubles - You really have to ask? I pretend not to care about anything as a shield. In reality, all I do is worry about things." I think these describe her quite well
Interesting thing is that the story teaser, Remembering Your Colors, starts with "we are like birds, soaring through the horizons of time" while the end scene of the character teaser, Her Colors, has two birds flying off into the horizon.
without telling spoilers: yes you guessed right. She is out-living others so it explains her weird behavior towards people beside MC (since MC is like 500+ years old at least). It's explained more in her story but if you will come back to Genshin this will take a while (her story is locked behind finishing Main Story since it's connected to the events of Natlan finale)
i knew i'd like citlali when i few first saw her, but i never watched any of her trailers fully. this react vid is so timely for me and i feel validated. thanks man!
There's voice lines in the archon quest that explains her age. Without too much pretext, she says "Whether you are 200 or 2000" and also says "Before I'm 500" so like that's her age range
Citlali is a real one. Love her to death. Trivia: Citlali reacts slightly differently to the male Traveler than the female one. Male traveler gets a bit more of a flustered / emotional / mad reaction in Citlali's story. There are comparison videos online to prove it. And I pulled them both. Had to.
In the story, the best Natlan character, most enjoyable too. And i pulled both... Citlali first since with Mavuika Pyro dps nr. 4 or 5th on amy account aint as important as Meta and drunk granny.
@@Samizard take one who you more like if you already have enough characters for exploring all content, or if not I can describe their abilities and roles: Mavuika can play on field and has power level around Arlecchino + -, or offield and has power level of Xiangling + - in different teams. Citlali is a elemental mastery shielder with offield aoe cryo attacks which also give enough cryo status on enemies for melt and freeze reactions, basically now she used with Mavuika, but you also can use her with Arlecchino and e.t.d...
Might be a minor spoiler, but everyone calls her "granny" because she's lived for so long that people started making crazy rumors about her that she's a scary old hag. I don't know how she's alive for this long. Maybe explained in her story quest, which I haven't started yet.
@@Starberry7 It's not mentioned in the quest, either she or the archon just say that she is more than human during a few parts of the archon quest and that she has been around for 200+ years.

She is a unique character, very tsundere. These made me laugh and cry. I hope you get a chance to play Natlan quests, they really pay off.

I think Skyler does a great job as granny Itstali, maybe even better than March
I pulled Mauvika first, trying for Citlali now. My son did the opposite, expecting a mauvika rerun before Citlali. He’s probably right 😂
