Even as someone who watched Friends casually and wasn't a die hard fan, even I cried when I learnt Matthew passed. Chandler was my favourite of all the characters, his one liners, his witty humour, his bond with Joey, love for Monica, the way his character evolved from insecure, commitment phobic guy to a loving husband, father and loyal friend. GOD I MISS HIM ALREADY. Thank you Matthew. For giving us this iconic, lovable character we've grown up and fallen in love with. Rest easy. ❤❤❤❤
Same. He was most of the reason I watched Friends, I found him to be the funniest and just loved his sarcastic humour! Chandler was always my favourite (Ross coming close second!😂) I just cannot believe he's taken from us now and way too early, such a tragic end to a beloved actor.

Yes, he never forced laugh. He's born that way, and Chandler is like all of us, kind of shy, not popular to women, nice to friends, but sometimes he screw things up. Lucky he found the love of his life and lived happily ever after. That's for chandler, not for Matthew tho

It's a miracle that this wonderful man was sober for 2 years, takes a lot of guts to do it but I'm happy that he made it through. I also remember that Courteney Cox once said that Friends The Reunion show was going to be their last time all 6 of them reunite. And my god, Courteney was absolutely right, it really was their last time we get to see six of them reunite. Ross is my favourite character in Friends but Chandler is responsible for some of the show's best jokes that made me laugh so hard. Thanks for everything, Mr. Perry. Even when it wasn't my day, week, or even year, Chandler never failed to put a smile on my face.
I watched Friends for the first time a few years after it ended, and pretty much binge watched them in a rough time of my life. It definitely made me smile, and Chandler is definitely the character I identified with the most.

I was a teen when Friends started, and I've rewatched it many times since, including on TBS. Even though it was considered a very 90s show then, it's turned out to be timeless. That's got to be from the great humor and the characters that a lot of people can relate to. Matthew Perry, of course, had a lot to do with both those things. Chandler's use of sarcasm to deal with life was something that many people either saw themselves in or wished they did, heh. And his line delivery was perfect. I was just watching s9 ep13 where Ross wants Chandler to help him get a date. Chandler mocks him, Ross mocks him back, and Chandler responds, "What are you doing, you know I can only dish it out." With the matter of fact way he says it, as though Ross is an idiot for thinking otherwise, he somehow turned what would have normally been a defensive line into a comeback- comedy brilliance right there. Thanks for everything, Matthew!

Friends is a show I gave a shot during the pandemic. I’ll never regret that decision since I use this show and TBBT when sleeping. I leave them on because I don’t have to feel alone and lonely. Thank you Matt for making me laugh and happy. You are my favorite Friend! May you rest in peace.

Im from Uruguay in south america, i have watched Friends for the fist time this year in August, and finished it in October. Chandler was by far my favourite character, i cannot believe this is happening. Although im a recent Friends fan, i feel greatful that i had the chance to enjoy Matthew s performance and know more about his life, and how he was helping others without specting nothing in exchange, while he was alive. This shcocked me a lot because only a few months passed since i watched the first episode, to this sad outcome, but Chandler and Matthew will be forever on my heart. RIP.

I loved watching the show Friends. I watched it often with my dear friend Ruthie a 93-year-old lady that I was carrying for and she loved the show, and it was also her favorite show as well. Two friends watching Friends. I took care of her for 5 and 1/2 years before she passed. 💕

I'm 36 yrs old and I grew up watching Friends prime time and my heart broke when I learned of his passing. I love all the characters but I will have to say that Mathew Perry playing Chandler Bing was my favorite character. The charisma whit just down right funny. Now I have two kids of my own 15 and 14 yrs of age and they love watching Friends. My son was reciting all of Mathew's lines off the top of his head and what made me laugh and cry is my son said his lines on point!

My parents and I became fan with the Thanksgiving dessert episode, I was young and they ended up crying because of how much they laughed, since then I grew up with Friends, it's the background of the time I've spent with my family, at home and even abroad, and I'm grateful for every single one of the episodes, for all the joy every person involved put into this series, and I'm grateful for Matthew, because the show would not have been the same without him. It's hard as a fan to lose such a performer, and in a way, his character as well, and it must be even harder for the one actually involved, thank you, Matthew, thanks for every single Chandler moment, watching Friends will never be the same.

FRIENDS helped me get through some tough times in college and even during the peak of the pandemic because it is such a great show.
All of the cast were great, but Matthew Perry was the best one who always made me laugh and forget my problems temporarily.
