These guys could have been real brothers-in-arms had their friendship been able to last longer. As it was, Aragorn came to respect the Gondorian soldier who fought every day to keep back the forces of Mordor, and Boromir came to see Aragorn as his rightful King, something Gondor had long ago abandoned. Aragorn is an amazing character, I'll never deny and always uphold it. But Boromir has always been my favorite, and if I could be friends with him I would. I'd go find this guy just to talk to him about his brother, the White Tower of Ecthelion, about Gondor and how much he loves his city, about how much he's done to protect the rest of Middle Earth from Sauron's might. But he's dead. And now all I can do is imagine. And wish.
