What hurts most is that we will never experience a trilogy as amazing as this one ever again.

The greatest tragety of those movies was that people came out of it thinking boromir was nothing more than a greedy human. Another villain along the way.
Boromir was a paragon, a dauntless knight, brave and true to a fault. His love for his friends and people was his downfall due to the rings influence. He is my favorite character in the series, and probably in all of fantasy.

Man I fucking love these movies so much. Back when Hollywood wasn't infested by all the identity politics bs and all the polarisation.
(I know Hollywood still wasn't a good place back then but you get my point)

When I only knew the theatrical versions, I didn't think much of Boromir. It wasn't until I looked back in "The Two Towers" that I thought much differently about him. Especially since it wasn't easy for me since his killer Lurtz is my favorite of the whole trilogy. Unfortunately only a movie character, but so brilliantly realized, and at the same time an excellent archer and swordsman. But as for Boromir, things have changed quickly. If I have to name my favorites of good and evil, it's undoubtedly Lurtz and Boromir. All the worse that both die in the first film, but all the more epic. The Lord of the Rings is truly the greatest trilogy of all time, and will remain unequalled. Thank you for these films with such a brilliant cast

Are you just having fun watching him die in other dimensions too, Petyr?
Jokes aside, heartwarming glorification of our broken but beloved Boromir.
