Outstanding video. Extremely informative. Not filled with jokes, no annoying music, just walking through and telling us everything we need to know about the saw.
    Great job!

I just bought the saw a few days ago and set it up today. My machine was pretty well set up out of the box but I wanted to calibrate it to dial it in and use that as a means to get more acquainted with the machine. Your video made very easy work of that and in a way that matched my learning style. Just wanted to say that and thank you very much!

What an excellent video - not often people go into the tweaking/set up aspects in detail, but we all may need to do it - thank you for producing this.

Best full-feature product review I've seen in ages! Thank you for showing ALL the details of the setup / tuning process. Such a confidence booster for someone new to Saw Stop's technology!
The CTS will be my next woodworking purchase. It will replace a really nice Craftsman granite-top cabinet saw (which I love) because that one just takes up WAY too much space in my "downsized" shop (half of a 2-car garage that also has a freezer and second refrigerator taking up "my" space), and because the safety features are so compelling on the Saw Stop. The CTS is the perfect combination of features and safety for my needs. Thank you again!

I have the same saw and I really appreciate your instructions for setting up this saw right to get the most out of it. I feel like Sawstop should sponsor your video. Excellent work.

Mine arrived today, it came set perfectly save for the cams needing adjustment to tighten up the fence. This video made me feel so comfortable with the saw and the checks. Thank you for this

Great video, thanks Dave, got my CTS recently and must say for a non professional home user it is amazing. Currently looking at options for a multipurpose blade for the saw. Anyway thanks again, very helpful. Love your reviews on RUclips.

Thanks for making this video just for me😂. I have just purchased this saw down in Victoria. As a 30+ year carpenter/tradesman who has only very occasionally used a table saw. These saws are intimidating even for veterans like myself. Whenever I’ve used a table saw they were probably not tuned correctly, and had no riving knife and no real training either. Carpenters don’t usually use them here in Australia and we didn’t get taught how to use them at trade school. Whenever we needed to mill timber is was electric circular saw and electric planer and a big pile of saw dust and plenty of time. This saw should sell well and this video is invaluable.

Great video, should have guessed by your relaxed demeanour that you were from the blue mountains. I grew up there, such a lovely place.

Excellent video for the CTS. I used it when I purchased mine and it was great because of the step by step presentation. So far, it has been an excellent table saw for my small shop and I am glad Sawstop came out with this model. It works great with the accessory stand. Keep up the quality presentations.

Fantastic video on how to tune a compact SawStop. Thanks!
The only adjustment this didn't cover is tuning the tilt angle of the blade (to get a proper 90).

A Very well done video. One of the best "intro" videos for any saw. I am in the research phase of maybe purchasing this saw and appreciate all your hard work.

Hi Dave, just watched your thorough review and am possibly going to purchase this sawstop which is marketed as a benchtop saw.
I have the world’s smallest 3mx2m shop and usually move stuff outside to create space or work outside using my 900mm high mobile bench.
I am concerned that the saw may be too high and thus impractical to use sitting on my bench.

Thanks for the detailed adjustment guide, really appreciate it. Would you run a full kerf blade in this machine? The blade that comes with it is .118 (3mm), which is in-between full kerf and thin. Some thin kerfs will not fit or fight with the riving knife I believe. Thanks again Dave.

Great video for sure though my CTS came out of the box perfectly tuned and calibrated. I did the checks and all on point no adjustments needed. Must have hit the lotto.

    Terrific video thank you.
BTW perhaps you might have mentioned turning the power off at the power point, unplugging the power cord, and showing the prongs of the power cord.
I have long made this my habit whenever adjusting a tool.

Hi Dave. How would the cut quality on that table saw compare to (say) a Festool track saw?

Does the Australian version rotate in the other direction? Good review, pity all my fellow USAians that can not translate metric in their heads.
