The latest Warcraft Update really gives new life for this game
I'm going to play it someday, just for the sake of nostalgia. I enjoyed its single player campaign lol. And also from Warcraft i fall in love with a game named DotA 🤣

Dota 1 models are the hardcore version of dota heroes and dota 2 models are somewhat family friendly haha

I hope Venomancer stays as a Hydralisk in the Reforge version. Davion and Arthas looks awesome as well.
If creator of the map won't change anything, they will. Old Warcarft 3 is just replaced with a newer model in Reforged. And you can have people who have different versions of Warcraft 3 (classic and Reforged) play together, they will just see different version of the units

After finally getting to try Reforged, I can say that graphically it looks really crisp, detailed and beautiful with lots of subtle details! Videos don't do it justice.. As far as comparison goes, Dota 2 have better shaders and more advanced engine, but Reforged much more detailed models and crisper textures

They not only updated them but also change the overall design. The most they've changed is Gondar, look how good he looks now.
All the reforged preview models are kicking their asses except SF, Specter, TA and Storm I think.

As someone who played dota 1 back in the day and barely played dota 2 , the character from dota 2 look cartoonish. Maybe i would play dota again if people make dota map for wc reforged.

Always found the vast majority of the DOTA 2 designs to either look like cheap knock-offs of the originals or just simply ugly. Will be fun playing the actual DOTA in Reforged.
There are so many answers to your “look like cheap knock-offs” and “simply ugly”:
1. That’s why there is this thing called a “set”
2. Im sure 80% dota 2 characters havent been remodelled yet
3. Dota 2 doesnt need warcraft design because dota universe has no connection with warcraft
4. Maybe valve made dota 2 design ugly on purpose because they want to lure players on their market

The model is comparison is incorrect actually. In war3, lc had a Garithos model, which had been quite distinguishable from a bandit lord model, that is in the video.
