Seen an interview with this pilot and he stated that u have to be a really good pilot to fly this badly. I wonder if that's where this comment was stolen from
That's not what I saw. He had absolute control over the aircraft at all times. If he buried it into the runway in a fireball then I would say it looked like he had no control
That pilot is absolutely incredible but I would never want to watch that in person. The margin of error is so slim any mistake could be a total disaster.
@@patrickkenyon2326 absolutely. You have to understand the physics of flight and your particular aircraft perfectly to pull off maneuvers like that. It’s amazing to see.
@@RicardoSanchez-es5wl I love attending the Oshkosh airshow. So many amazing pilots in one place. I tore up my hands, so I don't fly anymore, but I still love aircraft.
In Reno they use to announce they would tow a car if it wasn't moved. After several announcements they said they are moving it now when a flying crane would show up with a car and drop it from about a thousand feet. This always got a laugh. The year I was there they announced they were not doing it. That's when they dropped a school bus.
Awesome, been to many airshows, 4 years in naval aviation, many more years living near farmers flying crop dusters and just a fascination with aircraft in general. I thoroughly enjoyed this more than any other
I saw this stunt up close in 1980. My buddy was a third owner of the plane, and one of his partners performed the erratic flying. He stuffed it into the ground right in front of us.
@@spooge33 Oh I see 🙏 Did he make it? This kind of flying is very impressive but also looks incredibly risky as the margin for error seems almost non-existent
Kaikoura A&P show way back in the 1970 's had that act. Good old Tiger Moth plane, and to finish they dropped lollies on last fly over.. My first flight was in the Tiger Moth, cost Dad about $5.00.. The greasy Pig chase for the children was there as well. Now that show is Fantastic, and great to see.. Thanks to all.
you have to be really good....to fly that bad....
My thoughts exactly. There's no way. FAKE AF
Staged 💯

That is some insane piloting skill right there. Ive been to many airshows but ive never seen anything like that
That's no drunker, that's a world-class stunt pilot..😂
Wow I totally agree, and I promise You this is one for the World Record of Stupidity and Guts 😅😅😅
Are you sure ?
Saw him last year as well, but can make you scared for the first minute
It shows this country is all rehearsed actors
Pssssssht
Always enjoyable to watch! Few people realize how much practice goes into this routine.
I can imagine, ive seen it a couple different times, and he looks like he really fly's that thing on the edge.
They even hired Tom Arnold as the announcer!
@@danielm8950 They sure did, J. Biden.
This pilot is a strong possible candidate for a future video by Pilot debrief.
No kidding! He drinks everyday for a year preparing for this.
Great pilot. Seen this routine a few times. Love his skills.
He is truly brilliant! Making it look like that and being precise. Incredible!
Careful- this IS Wisconsin- it might be real........
As a wisconsian I approve of this message

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fake? That's the realist piloting I've ever seen.
The announcer is way to relaxed for this to be real
It isn’t it’s Kyle Franklin he’s been doing this for years one of the best comedy acts ever
trying not to scare the people who didn't expect it
I can only imagine how much skill it take to look like you have no control over that aircraft

That guy could park that bush plane on a thimble. The wing tips also have special plates on them for the wing touch stunt.
Pretty amazing.
I always love the announcers’ acting during these routines lol
No fun like that allowed in the UK.

Johnnie Walker gives you wings, too 😅
Always a blast to watch. I've been seeing variations of this routine since I was a little kid in the 60's. It never gets old.
Awesome skills that pilot has! Had me fooled until the announcer started his amusing commentary. I couldn't not watch right until the end. 😂
Wowzers! He got pretty close on that short dive 😳😳
I've seen this a few times. It's great!
Piper Cub is the real Show Winner 🏆
So light.lovely power to weight ratio
Accurately low fueled!
For those wondering, it is staged. This pilot has trained to do this many times. Always an EAA memory!!!
So difficult to maintain those maneuvers back to back to back…. Awesome!
It's not real, this is his routine. I don't know how he can wing strike and still be ok.
Skills plates on the wings..
doesn't make it any less impressive
Twice!
As a former United pilot, I can confirm this is SOP.

Kyle Franklin is a pilot’s pilot😎
His name is KYLE?! That wasn't alcohol... ol boy was hopped up on MONSTER ENERGY!
Right out of the Great Waldo Pepper...great
Dudes got skills even though it's a skit.
Some of those maneuvers don’t seem possible.
I remember the first time I saw one of these... 25 years ago. I thought it was real.
Something tells me it takes a great pilot to make this all look out if control.
Ground level flying is so hard to control. This is amazing stuff.
He's a stunt pilot 😂
Oldie but goodie
That was a setup, nice show ❤. He is a great pilot.
Got to hand it. Hez a qualified pilot. Great vid.

@instant_mint Accident. He meant to fly erratically and stalled it. It was a very old plane.

This pilots luck is going to run out. Yes stunt pilot's die all the time. He's just crazy.
Remember when Kyle was the Wing Walker on Jimmy's jet powered Waco? Always the showman, learned from a showman.
I clicked because I thought he was going to do the routine in a Texan! Still fun though

How is it possible to fly this routine without it being way too risky to be permitted? I don't understand how these maneuvers can be done safely
