[Blazblue CF Story Mode Recreation] How the Ragna vs. Susanoo fight should've been

- I was kinda salty that ArcSystemWorks didn't implement Unlimited Mode into their final Blazblue installment (for now anyways).
So I decided to recreate the final fight with Susanoo, as Ragna - in the Blazblue Centralfiction story mode.
* 5 Wins requirement
* Both characters in their boss states
* Both characters have access to unlimited exceed active flow and overdrive
* HELL DIFFICULTY
I had to make my own version of Unlimited Susanoo.
He has a new colour palette.
This version will only lose health after you end a combo against him with:
* at least 6,000 damage
* and with at least one distortion drive during said combo.
He has all his moves unlocked.
He also has UNLIMITED BARRIER, BURST AND HEAT.
And BS levels of damage, even more so than Unlimited Ragna!

This fight was tough. His health gate is one thing... But his damage is monstrous. It's bad enough when he manages to combo you, but if you DARE oki him, he will likely slap you with [Strike of the Possessed God] and utterly destroy you, regardless of your health. This took quite a few tries, before I got a take I was most happy with.

That’s the best part.
You can never hear it for any decent length in story mode.
Now THIS is how it should have been! A real drawn out, brutal, no holds barred showdown between these two.
Its amazing how far Ragna has come, at this point he is truly the only one who could pull it off. The SS Ranked Criminal, Bane of The World, Incarnation of The Black Beast...and the only one with the power to match the God Of Destruction himself.
The fact that after this he proceeds to mop the floor with Terumi and utterly erase him from existence is but the crowning jewel in a very big triumph. After so much suffering and ridicule he finally gets to show why the world was rightfully afraid of him, and gets his revenge on the green bastard by taking EVERYTHING from him at the moment of his greatest triumph.
Well it's a little more melancholy than that since Ragna knew he'd never be able to enjoy said victory since he needed to "off himself" afterward.
With how strong ragna was in the battle against susanoo can you imagine what would have happened if ragna had put the susanoo unit on while he was this strong
It was short lived cause now Ragna is in between worlds

All who try to use terumis body except for terumi can only use it at 40% power (hakumen) while he can use all its power because it's *his* body

love how Ragna has to put in immense fucking work just to make a dent in Susano’o; but Susano’o has to only do like 3 moves and Ragna is almost dead.
Really feels like a desperate situation as Ragna where any attack could pretty much kill you.
Fighting Unlimited Susano'o be like, "So you got touched."

I mean it should be as shown in 1:09 but Arcsys neglecting offline in BBCF. Actually it should be more than Unlimited like permanent 100 Heat shown in CS Bad Ending.
Seeing Ragna in CF with Belial Edge hurts. I miss it so much. The pain.
the reason it remove in cf because arcsys try balance the game with belian edge ragna become unstoppable
Man with that move in cs 2, my corner game was too strong with ragna blood edge, no one was leaving that spot unless I said so.

@GT012345tube Ragna didn't said the Restriction Release chant, as for Mu 12 sure why not? The U mode would be useful

7:20 demonstrates that a single combo punished means death at the hands of 17k distortion.
Yeah I always wanted the last to fights against Susanoo and Terumi to be SNK levels of hard. Like Unlimited Hazama in CS.
Hazama was only hard in "sealed" versions of the fight.
Once your drive attacks open up (and you go unlimited), he's a pansy.
Hell I astraled him on my first playthrough (and make it a point to do so every playthrough now).
@GT012345tube I'd rather stick with Hades Izanami being the one to control Takemikazuchi. Unlimited Ragna is the best one to fight against any boss.
Now, let me tell you about the BlazBlue myth character: Alpha 1. Alpha 1 is the first Murakumo Unit with the power of the Azure Grimore. Alpha 1 is basically the black Beast physical form.

You know, remember when the Blazblue Central Fiction was only in Japanese arcades and the arcade mode reached act 2? at the end of act 2 of the arcade mode, a Murakumo Unit with the Amaterasu symbol was shown. At first I thought that Amaterasu was going to be the final boss but the final boss turned out to be Susano'o instead.
@GT012345tube True. Izanami, Hazama/Terumi, Relius, Nu and even Litchi & Carl teamed up together to summon Amaterasu to have Izanami use the Takemikazuchi to destroy it
Terumi already had Unlimited in CP though. But Susano'o didn't. Really wish that Susano'o's Unlimited is above the rest, and even justify adding permanent 100% Heat to Unlimited Ragna (since he purposely went berserk here, and it was how his gameplay in CS ending was).
Am i the ONLY ONE who this Susano'o should have been a secret boss in Arcade mode???

@@bagel4943 Susano'o is Terumi's true form and Terumi had a huge impact on the world of BlazBlue: he was the creator of the Azure Grimore, one of the Six Heroes and one of the Sankishin. Did Terumi have a bigger impact on BlazBlue than Hades Izanami??
No, not at all. We all do.
After beating all 3(?, varies depending on character) arcade routes, there should've been a super arcade mode where you go through all three with scaling difficulty back-to-back, plus 2 extra normal fights and Unlim. Susanoo after the Act 3 boss.
As for Susanoo himself, he'd have everything at level 1, and everything would be upgradeable to level 3. Plus no dash startup, some extra bonus specials, and extra Distorsions.
Oooh~ I love this! A difficult, yet fair battle, going all out against a powerful opponent. You're pushing yourself to your absolute limit and beyond to defeat this extremely strong foe. It kinda reminds me of Unlimited Hazama in CS, except not cheap or a rubberbanding AI. As a Ragna main myself, I would absolutely adore this.

If this was the actual official boss, how would one know to make him vulnerable by doing a 6k distortion combo?
Zatoh huh... never actually thought of that. They could probably know through one of two ways.
A: Internet
B: A message could pop up before the fight starts, telling the player how to make him vulnerable.
Either way, this was merely a simulation on another 'what-if' scenario. In this case, it’s a 'what if Unlimited Ragna faced a beef-up Susanoo'-TK35-style :D

I mean as far as OP Fighting Game Boss Bullshit goes that's pretty tame.
Well since it’s 5 wins to win, maybe a different coloured healthbar (maybe like black with green veins) on top of Susan’s health that goes down like normal but fully regenerates instantly if you didn’t reach the 6K mark
They’ll definitely lose a few rounds realising that info but there’s plenty of rounds to play to make up for it.
I don’t know how to convey that you have to finish with a distortion to remove it though
@@pavlox8099maybe once it reaches a certain point it pulses red, like your super meter when you're at 50, but that might be a bit too obscure idk

Considering if this was legit and if I ever had this game and got up to this point, I'd probably get mopped all over the place endlessly since i'm a scrub on pulling off combos+distortions. This ultimate battle of epicness will really test you to pushing your limits.
The fact you also make Blazblue vids has got to be one of the most pleasant surprises in my life

It's so great to see another BlazBlue fan like myself! I still miss the dub, but I can at least forgive it for being a pretty great conclusion to this massive story! XD Daw well, I think this battle worked pretty excellently, and I would most definitely be having a bad time (NOT an Undertale reference!) if I were to face him for real! Hats off to you, sir!

OR how about a temporary Black Beast form for Ragna, since he technically used its power to its fullest (in my eyes)! Most likely modding, Ragna already has an Unlimited so the most he had to do for him was swap out unlimited ragna for normal ragna andmake his overdrives infinite
Susano'o was probably a lot harder, since even though he has an unlimited theme (HAKAISHIN) He isnt one of the 3 characters who has one. Meaning he had to go and change all of these attributes about susano'o. The one that interests me the most is the 6k + distortion shield.... My only guess is that maybe he could have taken an attribute from Grim of Abyss mode and applied it to normal gameplay?

Central fiction ragna is the strongest ragna period if including naoto or mai ragna is still the strongest because he just overpowering member of 6 heroes and literally beat being like azrael mano el mano I wonder if apocalypse 01 marukomo unit will exist in canon if she exist she literally will become the strongest ragna
@GT012345tube well after he got the final form where he combine power with saya he could literally overpowering azrael completely for a short period of time because he could bring a big damage to dark susanoo that's suppose to be literally stronger than azrael based on stat he even mention in the line

@GT012345tube but based on stat final form ragna is suppose to be 2nd strongest character in blazblue because he could seperate terumi from his main body in dark susanoo form meanwhile ragna complete literally destroying terumi from the inside where we could see even terumi doesn't has his form he could literally stronger than hazama from continental shift because ragna has train for years for this moment and just overpowering terumi in whole in 1 on 1 combat
Terumi without form is suppose to be stronger than hazama in continental shift and continental shift hazama need 3 people like rachel,jubei and hakumen just to bring him down (they suppose to be a top tier in the 6 heroes)and Rachel where suppose to be an equal to 6 heroes member based on power and stat
And ragna in continental shift should not suppose to be overpowering rachel but in the final moment ragna has overpowering rachel in 1 on 1 duel without using his blazblue because we could know that ragna is literally overpowered In this arc

@GT012345tube calamity trigger is suppose to be season 0 and continental shift is suppose to be season 1 and the reason why I call this ragna stronger is because he got reincarnation bunch of time because of continent shift but I'm not sure if ragna in reboot timeline goes because of mobile game blazblue alternative dark war I'm not sure if it's canon tho I don't think it's canon?and the other reason is because he has experience of battling hazama before so he should be have an experience on battling terumi and other ragna all of them always got the bad ending and all of them reach the same fate like being turn stab by marakumo unit bunch of time in continental shift and turn black beast multiple times and get killed by member of six heroes again and again
