I got my first paid internship for 15k in the beginning of my second year. It is for an AI based learning platform. My role was of a educatiom based content research. Nothing related to web development. It is pure googling and harnessing my Training development skills in HR. One thing I know, had they not been paying me..I still would have done the job. It is not exhausting. very engaging. and related to student-teacher psychology. It was from internshala itself. So i would say. keep gaining experience. and work for experience even if they are not paying for starters. You will soon land up on a paid one. And the early applicant advantage is real.

So i got an internship from the internship celĺ for an IITM alumni based ed platform, and so the ball rolled. To get the first internship,i just told them i did some other bunch of stuff to get things started. Otherwise it can be a vicious cycle of u dont get experience, because u don't have it. I got good internships for normal things, paid and relevant (even unpaid and irrelevant ones. haha☺🤪) Now i want to switch it up, so not getting paid for it initially is not a problem with me.

One of my friends also did the same material, and he got into Pilani CSE. Another one did the same material and got into IIT Gandhinagar Electrical. Follow whatever schedule you are comfortable in. I prepared for JEE in 11-12th, and just 2 days before BITSAT, I solved 3 mock tests, that's it.
