Also, the worst children's tv show ever in my opinion that was not mentioned here was actually called "Barney and Friends" (but at the same time also tied with Caillou) and Teletubes is a close 2nd not far behind that. It ran for a surprisingly long time despite its very poor ratings and bad reviews.
