Douglas has had a fair bit of screen time in the previous 2 Ant-Man movies. I've heard that Pfeiffer is basically the main character for a good chunk of the film.

Marvel is sci fi alot of the time. Actually 90% of the time
I always thought Marvel as sci-fi. In fact, my superhero novels are inspired by Marvel and DC and I consider them in the sci-fi genre. My current book titled Fairy Girl is a sci-fi novel. It's got a lot of sci-fi stuff for a story about a fairy.
Yet someone here in the comments said it looks so sci-fi.

Wdym ? CG was fantastic in L&T except the floating head and helmet. We can't forget the space dolphins scenes, shadow realm and omnipotence city's visuals . L&T is overhated for its comedy but I think its VFX was much better than MoM

Jeff Loveness wrote some of the best season 4 and 5 Rick and Morty episodes, including the vat of acid episode, promortyus and Rickmurai Jack. Of course it's going to be way more sci-fi than the previous installments. If this movie rocks, we're getting an insane Avengers 5 movie, since he is writing that as well.
I really appreciate how 100% committed to being weird this movie was. It doesn't try to make fun of itself with self-deprecating metahumor or anything, it's just fully, proudly weird
From what I’m seeing the CGI looks very crisp and clean. Hard to base it off this scene alone but it seems to have a good ration of serious and comedy scenes. Keeps it a serious movie with some light funny bits to keep it engaging.
The only bad CGI will be modok

This scene makes me want the MCU to make the Micronauts movies, where it's just them getting pitted against any threats in the Quantum Realm/Microverse/Sub-atomic Universe
And also explore more of the world too, but one can only dream or hope

This whole thing reminds me of Rick and Morty, cause there was an episode with the microverse battery where the whole universe is a society, and that is what the Quantum Realm is in there. God. If Rick Sanchez came down here to see this.

The "Broccoli Alien" was first seen in issue 4 of The Avengers comic book from 1964. The alien home planet was also devoured by Dark Phoenix in a 1980 issue of The X-Men.

I hope that we get an explanation as to why and how living beings are residing in the Quantum Realm. Have they always been there, created naturally by evolution? The variety of species would seem to suggest otherwise; then again, it's the Quantum Realm, the natural order of things wouldn't necessarily apply there. Did they end up there by accident and decided, "Welp, guess I'm living here now"?
The broccoli guy would suggest that they were born there. For every living creature a reality or universe exists. I.e. humans exist in this universe. Imagine if humans never existed but you found them in the quantum realm. The broccoli guy is an undetermined causality. Neither living nor dead but exists in the quantum realm as a possibility that has not reached its maximum output as a distinct universe therefore it is in limbo.
Considering that the Quantum Realm seems to exist outside the natural flow of time and space, it could be a multiversal dumping ground.
I still cant wrap my head around a sub-atomic universe. it hurts when i try.
