    Good afternoon Dr.
Most fundamentally, one cannot behave above the level of one's exposure. Growing up witnessing chaos as a lifestyle in Nigeria. During the days we wrote Common Entrance Examination and Primary school exams; you will see parents throwing their children over the fences just to beat protocols and they ended up being attended to ahead of those who were orderly, making those who stayed on the queues look stupid. The point is; we are all products of our environment. At the last World Cup, Japanese fans were praised for always keeping their stands tidy after watching their team; a beautiful display of cleanliness which you can trace back to how neat, tidy and orderly Japan is as a country. Africa and Nigeria in particular have a duty to imbibe these qualities in their systems before we can expect calmness and orderliness in the way we do our things.

👍. True talk. You Can't Give What You Don't Have. We need to be deliberate, intentional and consistent in the inculcation of these traits in ourselves (elites and the masses) before we can aspire to be a truly progressive society.

Thank you very much sir. I enjoyed listening & learning from your videos.
I love the way you narrated your experience on Bonny town oil port. The people that are in charge in running the port, are people of integrity and are dedicated to the country they serve.
If we are to make changes in any endeavour, we need to look within.
The lady that refused to run those birds over is a committed citizen, and understands her role, which would impact the environment. She understands the role these animals play to our eco system.
We need good leadership and dedicated citizens like you sir to drive home the truth of what makes a nation great.
Nigeria is going through a transition of change. Change does not come easy. It takes time.
Thank sir again for taking the time to teach us, there is hope for Nigeria as a nation to strive if we all join force to make the change e.g socially, spiritually, intellectually, educationally in fact holistically

    Thank you sir.
The reason things are not Worthing well is due to bad leadership
I like the way you narrated your whole experience in Bonny.
The people are obviously organised. The leadership in place is definitely working for the betterment of the citizens of the town.
Nigerians can organise if there is no room for greed and foolishness.
Watching & listening has given me hope the change can be made possible if the people in charge are working for the common good of it’s citizens
Well done to the govern of rivers state.
I hope others will follow this example of orderliness and organisation you experience in Rivers state.
God bless you and the work you do

There are many issues plaguing our country, impunity, bigmanism, whom you know etc makes life unbearable. A lot benefit from lack of order. If you report you will be looked at like a fool or simply be ignored. If a person knows he will be punished for wrongdoing he will desist from it but if there’s no sanction, we behave anyhow .

Dr Apoki, these are exactly the same questions I ask myself and other black folk, and yet to find any reasonable answer. It is what I have termed 'the black man's curse' because it seems we black folk have the required intelligence like other races but for some very strange reason, I DON'T know why we cannot be organised as a race.
I am not sure what the answer is because I have been asking for the longest time, if anyone can pin point it, I will really want to know because it keeps me up most at nights.
I also believe that is partly or largely why it was easy for our ancestors to sell off their brothers into slavery and why it was easy to colonize us so easily; something you cannot do to an organised group of people.

Dr Apoki what is point of asking for people's comments when they are not allowed to say their mind.

At my age I am very intolerant of mumucious people.
I will not block you my dear because you are in the right place to learn that's why you always come here.

There should be room for dialogue, everyone will not agree with your opinions.
I m very sure you can't call our politicians mumu.
You don't even know me, no Europeans or American will talk publicly to his people the ways and manners the so called elite addresses their people. That is the may reasons some of us from the street don't care about what you have to say.

My teaching method is not for mumus. That's why you have cut off marks to read some courses.
Our teaching methods in Nigeria have produced some of the best doctors and engineers all over the world. Only mumu students complain about teaching methods.
The world has acknowledged that Nigerians are among the most brilliant people in the world so stop playing the victim card.
If your politicians are not mumus we won't be in this mess.
I have confronted the high and the mighty in Nigeria.

  • @sundayhezekiah5002
    @sundayhezekiah5002 16 дней назад

    Orderliness Is Godliness!.
Ignorance of the connection between Order and Organisation with resultant good living conditions (or lack of them) might be at the base of general lack of order and organisation in the African and Nigerian societies.
Another strong factor might be Selfishness or Self-centredness or greed. With the thought of securing things and spaces for yourself (most probably from the mindset of being conscious of scarcity of resources) individuals tend to think of and for themselves instead of the collective good. In the process, the end product is Chaos- lack of organisation and order.
Critical thinking should teach us that with Order and systemic Organisation, everyone would eventually get what is due to each. But if we had Critical Thinking in the first place, we won't be disorderly and highly disorganized as we are today. 😂😂😊

There are so many other smaller African countries that are more organized than Nigeria, some Caribbean Island(s) are very organized and orderly.Nigerians or Nigeria thrive on bigmanity, lack of respect for one another...always asking do u know who I am.Our film industry portrayal of our women aggressive and violent behavior is destructive on so many levels,we talk down on or to one another with total impunity and disregard...cultural for the most part.To a large degree we are bread to he lead hence...We like tittle Oga sir and oga madam showing or slapping house maid and gate man to oblivion, gad damn it.
We as a nation needs total overhaul. Our leaders have turned to our new colonizers. Am sorry for ranting born out of frustration. All the best all.

Everything flows from the head, except there's orderliness and organisation at the levels of leadership in any society, touting becomes the orderof the day. For instance, the Nigerians you found in this environment were wee behaved because they were, and are so led. Except the issue of leadership is settled in Nigeria and the rest of Africa, this "touting" will continue in our society.

Dr Charles, i think it a cultural issue, which begins with the family as one of the most vital agent of socialization, then school, are kids still taught moral education, and how to be orderly and organized, i got to know when i relocated to the united state few years back and one day I went to my son's school, all the kids complied to instructions and maintained a very accurate straight queue with their hands on their shoulders, they all kept quiet except they were asked to speak these kids are just 4-6, when it was time to serve gifts and food they maintained same accuracy. It was saddened when i heard Nigerians died this month cos of food sharing, hunger. This topic of your should be a national one,it affects every ramifications of the country, inec, police, education health, heath is a pathetic one, a friend lost his child cos luth said no hospital bed available and no fuel in generator a new born baby di**d, people like u should govern this country sincerely, but the snakes and vampire blood sucking humans wont let it happen . Things are getting worse by the day. Government don't CARE

Can there be orderliness when a people have a societal practice of ignoring the law,, commands, structures of the Almighty who called for orderliness and decency? We’re the offspring of a stiffnecked gainsaying people who seem to only exercise self regulation and standards under the yoke of bondage. The same concerns you share there occur often here in US among the poorer black populace. Poverty only accentuates the problem. Even after some measure of escape from poverty we yet suffer this backwardness with all our religion and so called fear of God….we yet no comply smh save for a few exceptions like the place Bonny you described.
It is a steep uphill climb to maintain good execution of best practices when surrounded by a sea of those who are completely satisfied with the backwardness but it can be done. The place there in Bonny is an example. Dr Apoki you’re an example as well as many of your viewers. It is a long haul but momentum is gaining slowly for a strong resolve to execute well in business and society without rehearsing failures of others whether our own leadership or historical injustices.
