- I finally get a chance to put all the parts on my KX112 (KX100 KX85). Lectron Billetron mini. bud racing additional radiator kit. Renthal Fatbars. BarkBusters JET. Trail Tech digital temperature gauge. engine ice coolant. HGS exhaust.
My grip
Was the same. I put it on a lathe and cleaned up nice
What are your opinions of the pipe and carb upgrades? Those are top notch parts! Just wondered if it was worth the cost or if it wasn't super noticeable. I love my KX112 (100% stock beside bars) on hard packed surface but In deep sand it could use alot more torque.
It's honestly not much of a noticeable power difference. The carb is easy to tune with metering rod and power jet adjustments, and seems to run more consistent day after day with temperature and humidity changes. The pipe seemed to add a little bit of low and mid range power, but the biggest plus to the pipe is the second rad. The bike runs very cool now, never seen it get over 60c yet. Running these 2 stroke as cool as possible is a big part of getting them to last a long time between rebuilds

Where did you order the pipe at?
Directly from bud racing usa's website
Oh man, those coolants might not worth the try 😛
where did you get the bark busters
Fortnine
How much cooler does it run with 2nd rad?
I can't really say, installed the coolant temp gauge the same time as the 2nd rad. I never really knew the true temperature with just 1 radiator
Ah OK I just use my handheld thermo laser thing for now usually I'm 120-140* Thinking of getting the 2nd rad and exhaust.
