Hi everyone. Here’s my take on an age old debate - 360 vs non360. Even in 2023, many people still don’t understand that 360 cameras are 3rd person view cameras. Although this kind of comparison has been done before, I’ve added a twist: I used a new dual bracket design that maintains the invisible selfie stick. Thanks! Me Mode can only shoot at 1080p up to 60fps but the amount of detail is almost as high as 5.7k 30fps in 360 video mode.
Basic question I know but I’ve never really done much video. How do you add music to your clips and what’s the source? Thanks!
Hey there Christopher! Good question. You can add music to your RUclips videos using studio.youtube.com and click on editor then click on Audio to get free music from RUclips. If you want higher quality music, you can download music from sites that offer that as a service. The one I use is called artlist.io. You can try 2 mos for free here: artlist.io/Michael-170157 Then you can add the music to your video using a video editor such as PowerDirector.

Thanks buddy! On the X3, to avoid overheating, make sure to use either Sandisk Extreme (red and gold) or Sandisk Extreme Pro (red and black).

Nice, so how is the image quality of the Go Pro compared to the Insta modular setup's non 360 option?

What’s special with Hero 11 imho is the 8:7 aspect ratio option which works really well when combined with Reelsteady.

Oh I have you beat! I'm using 0.002%! HA! j/k I liked your snowboarding video! Wow that's a nice ski resort with not a lot of people! Here in LA, the trails aren't as long or wide, snow is usually icy, and it's usually crowded :D
@@360vroomers I really need to work on doing the old key framing thing on lots of my videos. What I like to do, and I have only posted a couple, is give walking 360 tours of places. I have only done 2 Jamaican resorts but I have a video walk through of the boat I lived on while scuba diving in the Maldives, and of two resorts in Bonaire. I like the idea of folks being able to look where they want, use the video to either preview a place or to bring back memories if they have already been there.
Does x3 work as a dash cam like Gopro Hero11 Black and does it over heat like Gopro
X3 has a loop recording mode to enable it to function as a 360-degree dash cam. And it can be powered via USB. But it will overheat. On my tests it was able to last around 70+ minutes.

Hang on! Call me slow but, I just noticed that you changed the channel name! Haha! By the way, I've never seen that Summerboard before. Time to look into one.
Hi Pete yes I changed the channel name to focus on action sports and action cams (including but not limited to 360 cameras). Re summerboard it’s pricey but super fun!!! Im really happy with the SBX but I think the lower cost SB1 is also good enough because I go nowhere near the speed limit nor the mileage. Another option is freebord (if you live near a place with hills). I will post a review/tutorial on summerboard and freebord.
@@360vroomers A friend let me try out one of his OneWheels and for a while I was considering one of those. Just looked up the Summerboard. Interesting.
@@Pete_R63 Onewheel is also fun to carve but it can’t slide. Summerboard can carve and slide so personally I find it much more fun, while Onewheel is more efficient for going from point A to point B. But if you want something for traveling, then electric unicycle is far more efficient, faster, longer range and lower cost (price vs performance).

It’s called summerboard. It is a kind of electric skateboard that can both carve and slide so as to simulate snowboarding. It’s the most fun PEV I’ve tried to date.

For action sports, just the rugged design alone of the Hero 10/11 makes it more practical for most users. Even if does somewhat cap the creative possibles of the kind of footage you can capture. Great video Mic, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Ron! True but I think many users are sufficiently confident with their skills not to scratch the camera. It’s also great if you are shooting a friend or vice versa.
How do you compare theta Z1 vs x3?
Z1 has way better photo quality while x3 has way better video quality. So it depends on what is your priority - photo or video. If you want both, check out the 1-inch 360. 😀
@@360vroomers are the photo differences significant? in what circumstances, do you think only theta Z1 could produce decent pictures?
@@tsuvwxyz theta z1 looks “dslr like” while x3 looks like it was shot with a compact camera. X3 can always take passable photos. But z1 photos will look “richer”. You can see here

I've been using 360 cameras for 2 years now, they're fantastic in certain situations but I keep going back to my trusted Sony 4K. I'm in Switzerland with just my Insta360 X2 and my phone (love to travel very light)...... again, I'm using more the camera on my phone than the X2. Honestly, I'm having doubts now on 360 cameras. That's just me.

Thank you for your video. I have bad experiences with GoPro so I go with Insta 360 X3. Do you think that we should get the Lens Guard to protect the lens? I think it will degrade the image quality.
Hey there streetsphotography! Sorry to hear about your GoPro. Re X3 lens guard, I think it's a very good idea if this is your first 360 camera, while you get used to the idea of not putting the lens on hard surfaces and not swinging it around in narrow places :) . After you are more familiar with it, you can remove the lens protector to reduce glare. I also recommend using the lens guard if you're shooting in rough environments.

Hi, I have a question. About quick recording when the camera turn off. Can I make it auto record with my custom preset? Currently seem it automatically recording 360. And how can I edit the customize presets?
