Hold on now. I heard somewhere Alastor has morals with his killings. Meaning the worse the abuser is, the more likely Alastor would hunt that person down, leaving the innocent alone. If Alastor is the opposite of an Angel of Light, wouldnt he kill anyone regardless if they are good or bad? I always took him talkimg about smiles as a masking technique. Yeah, can hide evil intent, but also we see Alastor have a mental breakdown. Could of also meant smiles can distract yourself and pthers from a deeper issue. All sorts of ways to interpret his smile quote.
Killing is NEVER morally justified, unless it's committed in self-defense or to defend another person, or to prevent a serious crime. Nothing in the show states how or why he killed people. I mean...he's in hell for a reason. It's all either fan theories or supplimental material.
@MadMunchkin I'm not saying it's true or not, but that still doesnt mean his lore isnt floating around on the internet. Ive seen theories and comics shows his dad being highly abusive to his mother and even a bit of a comic of alastor finding his mother dead and ripping up the family picture (ripping his father out of the picture). Where in the show have we seen how Alastor gets the green X on his forehead (site of where the bullet that killed him entered/exited his body resulting in his death)? How do we really know Alastor is a cannibal? Even though is depicted as a wendigo and the main characteristic behavior for a wednigo is cannibalism? There's plenty of things in show so far we don't have explanations on, but doesn't mean there isn't isn't character lore floating around. (Which Hazbin Hotel lore has been floating around for 5 years now.) We also haven't seen or heard Niffty's lore and she supposedly went ballistic and killed her boyfriend/husband who cheated on her. Some believe she was Vox's girlfriend/wife since they both died in the 50's. Just because Vox is supposedly American and Niffty is supposedly Japanese doesn't mean anything.
Fun fact there about his deer features They're based on the native American spirit of the wendigo since alastor is a cannibal and how he was killed by Hunters said to be mistaken for a deer
@almightyk11 He was a human that became a sinner after dying, one of his inspirations is a Wendigo, so I'm not saying he is one just it's part of what inspired his design
@@MadMunchkin If you don’t mind me asking how come the title talks about how the show is “a bloated mess” but the video itself doesn’t seem to have anything to do with that point

All fan theories. Until it's in the show proper (and not in supplemental material) it's just fan theories and fan comics. Not canon.
@MadMunchkin yeah I know
Fun fact there about his deer features
They're based on the native American spirit of the wendigo since alastor is a cannibal and how he was killed by Hunters said to be mistaken for a deer
That's something I suppose, though the Wendigo is a curse affecting humans not a demon

@@Kull1339 Ah I see, I assumed he was a Fallen Angel. I don't watch the show.
@almightyk11 Ohhh ok, fair enough
@Kull1339 I also heard he has a high fear of dogs so I'm guessing the hunting dogs the hunters had were trained to chase injured prey.
Don’t even have to watch to know whatever argument you have for it being “bloated” is terrible
Wow, a real psychic in the wild!
Oh wait, I meant; closed minded. Thanks for commenting on a video you didn't even bother watching.

@itsgalaxy5278 because it's a clip from the video.
Oh ok
