    sir, when the intensity is constant, and frequency is varied, why there is different current when ext. voltage=0?

    sir one doubt in the photoelectric experiment.....in order to find out current produced by the ejected electrons due to light source.... why do we need to connect a battery source and wats its use????

    Sir, when we introduce a bulb of different color then we expect it to kick out elections from inner shells but this is not possible unless outer shell electrons are also removed. Thus more number of electrons should be released on using higher frequencies. Why is photoelectric current constant then!

    Sir, even if the frequency of an incident wave is increased, the number of photons remains same. So how does it affect current? Isn't current dependant on the number of electrons, and hence, photons? Thank you.
