This was such a good study! Great job on explaining simply, a very hotly debated topic such as marriage and divorce! Also, I’ve never fully come to grips with those verses about the rich man until now. Great job! As I was meditating on this I was finally able to comprehend (thank God!) it is impossible for a camel to go through the eye of a needle...but God can change the camel!!! The rich man saw his riches as his own, and as worth more than his eternal soul. But when God changes our hearts (changing us from Camels to children of God) we see our riches as His and we pray to be good stewards of it for His Glory; we see the worth of our heavenly riches in Christ as more valuable than any earthly treasure. In addition, I’ve never considered the other application for this: we still need to come to God and ask to be shown any blind spots !!!! How great an application !! I totally missed that from these verses! Thank you for your labors! Praying for you & Megan !!
That mirror-effect is excellent. "Now we see through a glass, darkly- but then face to face. Now I know in part- but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three- but the greatest of these is charity" (1 Corinthians 13: 12-13).
Excellent teaching! Apparently your wanting to please/help/respond to your wife, i.e. pick her up that that distraction got you a bit discombobulated. 😊 It’s a little funny, ok, not bad ( maybe even an indication that you knew she would be patient with you): at one point you said you were rushing because you had to pick up your wife in five minutes; a little LATER it was in ten minutes that you had to pick her up.❤
FYI: the schoolmaster reference is in Galatians 3:24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." KJV
If JESUS said that the 12 of them will sit in their thrones- will Judas will be there? 😅. This just made me curious. Thank you for this study, and God bless 🤎
I'm back again with studies 😊

Any reason why Jesis quoted only the last six commandments to the young richman?
