TF2 community WE HEAR YOU we here at valve can see how big of an issue this has become and are working on a deep learning ai to automatically block people complaining about it alongside new highly advanced earplugs.
I unironically want to try and go to Valve with them because I only live an hour or so from Seattle, and by extension, Valve I do wonder if they could get a ton of people to go, although that could get out of hand fairly quickly.
You deserve more subs, this was a really well hosted video! You hit all the questions I had about the movement, especially when it came to what was going on with the voice actors. Great going! Keep up the good work
we are around 250K signs on the thing just like blizzard back in the day for classic wow when blizzard was at there peek now if valve just laughs and burns everything down. they lose and if they say and dont do shit again they loooose massively... i mean how hard is it to make say a community counsel of the top moddders youtubers map makers and get them as say " the tf2 community counsel" and each coming from there own area in tf2 give ideas valancing and everything and then they have community teams that work on all this then when its done. it all comes back to the counsel they say good hand it to valve they do the one over then pop it in game. right now the parts of tf2 are off in there own world we need a counsel or hell the "TF2 PLAYERS UNION"
I looked it up, and VAC the anti cheat that valve uses for tf2, is 22 years old! There's no way in hell that VAC is going to stop any modern cheating software Edit: I know they update it but regardless a new software is required at some point right?
@@TheMiningCrafter the thing was made for the windows xp. Most people who did have it when it came out was using the windows 95 at the time. Yeah shits old
Considering that all cosmetic items added to TF2 these days are 100% created by community modellers, a "boycott" would mainly hurt _them._ And in the corporate worldview, if players boycott the Summer Update, what the beancounters see is, "Oh, the players clearly no longer want the game, and if we're no longer making money from it we might as well shut it down." You can't _shame_ a corporation into doing it unless it would hurt their image with the normal public, not just a few gamers. We _have_ something to lose: the item servers. The right way is to show a corporation that you _are_ enthusiastic about the product but the product is currently broken we are doing) and that it's broken because saboteurs are coming into the shop and breaking the product and assaulting the customers. Which is exactly what we are doing at the moment.
My IDEAL vision of what happens to TF2 in response to this movement is that it receives the same love, respect and attention that they've ALREADY been giving to one of their contemporary releases, Dota 2. No reason to discriminate against specifically TF2 they way they have for so long when you consider Dota 2's continual content releases and even their Source 2 port, which happened before CS2.
I'm sorry, but... why are people now hating on the aging TF2 voice actors for not wanting to be 1. doxxed by rabid (potentially Russian) bot-hosters, 2. being blacklisted by Valve and other video game companies??? After the voice actors already petitioned to Valve for us two years ago about the bots. And they just recently did a lot for the community on their own free time. Are you fucking serious calling them "grifters"?? _They have a life outside TF2._ They're not the TF2 characters. Do you really want to make they and their families targets for hackers? If they speak out are a much "juicier" target for internet trolls than some random RUclipsrs.
honestly deadlock is made foe one audience ASIA.. china japan and alll of asia has a massive addiction to comp games and e sports. this game will massively tank in the west but china with billions of people. if it works.. valve wins anyway for the last 10 years all publisher have been making games for only one market ASIA because live serivce comp hero shoot esport is alive and nearly a 100 billion dollar business. it fails west the east will feed it
I'll keep saying it till most people understand. The Casual Mode matchmaker system itself is what has caused the bot crisis. Nothing less than the total removal of Casual and re-implementation of Quickplay is the actual viable solution to the bot crisis.
@@TF2CrunchyFrog it won't 100% but it will stop bots from joining in group of six and kicking real players. also community server have better anti cheat and moderation. also Quickplay won't make it as automatic for the bot hosters. we should make it hard for them. not easy. and the side effect of getting quickplay will make tf2 more fun and balanced.

If they shut the tf2 servers down it would be the biggest pr nightmare of all time. They are not doing that in the wake of all this

Did you know: Gabe Newell pays the bot hosters

If you have a source for this please post it. Surely this isn't an unsubstantiated claim, right?
IMAGINE posting a ridiculous unsubstantiated claim on a YT vid smh my head
