Parents GAA was 1.89 not his SV% 🤣 Hope ya enjoyed... I wanted to make my 100th upload another HH one..... Thx for allowing me to upload 100 times and for the massive support.... You guys are the best 🔥🔥🔥
I noticed some goofs about The 1976 Super Series: 1. NHL teams weren’t playing the Soviet National Team. They were going against CSKA Moscow, aka The Red Army Team 2. Earlier in the series, Montreal forced The Red Army Team to settle for a tie 3. The Russians left their bench during the first period instead of refusing to go back onto the ice to start the third
I absolutely loved the Flyers during this time. I played ice hockey back in the 70’s. Bobby Clarke my idol then and now. Would love to meet him one day. This team rocked. Hockey is not the same
I agree with everything except the use of the term "ice" hockey There is no other kind of hockey....(field hockey doesn't count because no one plays field hockey) street hockey is an extension of hockey as is floor hockey and ball hockey
Growing up in the suburbs of Philly the Flyers 1st Cup run was was really got me interested in sports and hockey especially . As a 10 YO kid watching these guys cream everyone they played was magical. They were heroes of the highest order for us that lived in the area. We no longer felt like America's door mat.
People trash this franchise for being so rough but what they fail to realize is that it was rough and dirty play that ended up creating the Bullies. They, themselves, were being bullied by the other teams more specifically the Blues and the Plager brothers. Snider and Allen decided they would not be intimidated anymore and became the intimidators. And it worked brilliantly. They even intimidated the most feared hockey team in the world to the point that they wanted everyone to feel sorry for them.
I have been a Flyers fan for my entire life. I grew up and still live in Philly. You should really double check some of this info. Schultz was drafted and had never fought before and was a goal scorer not a goon.
Yeah I have asthma so in this video my pacing was bad. In the newer vids I sound way better if ya wanna check em out! Thanks for watching and for the constructive criticism.
@@idontgivetkachuk really enjoyed the video, not to sound rude but the voice just sounds monotoned lol just a little enthusiasm and you'll be great dude!!
@@pillcosby777 Hey, get this a lot on older videos. I have some bad asthma so I didn’t know how to control my pace when reading. Hence the stretched out reading. If u watch the most recent I can assure u it’s way better! Thanks again!
He's the reason why the Flyers won the Stanley Cup in 1974. As rough, tough, dirty and intimidating as the Flyers were, they couldn't intimidate the Boston Bruins. They did have talent too...Rick McLeish, Bill Barber, Reggie Leach and of course Bobby Clarke.
At 2:11 I see the * but it doesn't seem to do the late great ED Snider justice especially when considering the colossal POS dAN Snyder is and in every aspect of life too. Anyways keep up the good vids and glad you took no shit from people about your voice even back then.
In the 1975-76 season when the Soviets played the NHL. Not every NHL team lost to them. Only 5 teams played the Red Army. Yes the Flyers were the only ones to defeat them. The Canadiens were the only other not to lose to them. A 3-3 tie in which the Canadiens totally dominated. The Soviet Wings also played a few NHL teams as well. The Wings weren't as good as the Red Army. The most notable game of their series was a 12-6 loss to the Sabres

Still one of my favorite documentaries
probably my favorite hockey team of all time.
The Flyers were loaded with scoring talent and played defense. They also loved to fight in the process of winning all of those games for years.
Good job. Loving the quality more and more bro
Thanks bro!! I try and improve it as each vid is made
All you need is a stronger voice and sharp proofreading/editing and you'll get a lot more subs. Very good video, nonetheless.

Настоящие герои! Браво!
Bernie should have won the cup with the #Leafs but Bobby broke the Russian's ankle in 72 so Canada owed him for the win

Broad Street Bussies
You want work ethics? Be a fucking Flyer.
He said Dan Snyder. Dan Snyder owns the Washington Commanders of the NFL. Ed Snyder owned the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL. No relation. Just sayin'
first
Ayyyy
Hey narrator; man up your voice a little. You’re talking about hockey.
You are telling an, at the time 17 year old, to man up his voice LOL. I hope it made u feel good 🙏
Oh my God! DAN Snyder? It's ED Snyder. Do a little homework before you post a video.
Ummm, it’s Ed Snider, not Ed Snyder. Perhaps you could use some homework too.
Probert and Kocur would have crushed these guys
WORST FRANCHISE IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS! LETS GO PENS!!!🖤💛🥅🏒🐧
The Pens have spent time as the worst franchise in the history of the game, remember 1983-84?
