Wouldn't that be with a comorbid diagnosis of selective mutism?/gen I very likely have social anxiety and struggle to talk sometimes both bc of that and bc I'm autistic as well but don't have selective mutism so I'd actually like to know. I read the diagnostic criteria and it's very common for selective mutism to be codiagnosed with social anxiety and even treated as a kind of social anxiety sometimes but again bc I don't have it but I wanna know and since I dropped komi as well, would it apply to her as well?

oh i do this, all the time, i can't speak to you unless im forced to (example, say hello to the person in front of you to be polite/when spoken to so you do not come off as rude, in school when told to work with people. ordering food, talking to people in stores "hi can i help you with anything?") otherwise i literally can't talk, even though i can literally, i have vocal cords, i just can't do it, i don't WANT to. I just like keeping to myself, talking to strangers has to be the most stressful thing, all of these interactions stress me out so much i recently was medicated for how much anxiety (its for my mood disorder actually tmi ig but it DOES actively also make me so much less anxious) has taken a toll on my quality of life and my physical body. and nobody ever fully understands, but this alone describes my entire being so, i don't know.

I dunno, you should just make a character with a normal personality, and make them disabled. So don't make a character whose whole purpose is to be disabled, and that is all they talk abt etc Research a bit about the disability you wanna add so it's accurate. And don't make characters who say their life is terrible and sad because they are disabled, ppl don't like that
Best to look into interviews or youtube videos containing people with the disability you speak of. Like I watched a few interviews/tiktok and youtube vlogs from people in wheel chairs or people that are deaf. Also as for blindness and deafness I'm lucky enough to know someone who is blind and deaf in person who I can ask if I desperately need help with something (like finding out if you hear a loud noise if someone were you wacky a hearing aid)
They should be a 3 demential person. With a hole character arc , it can have nothing to do with disability or smth to with it as long as you don’t make it thier entire personality. You should represent the downsides of that disability, bc it’s not all fun and games. But you shouldn’t imply that they’re better off dead or should be cured to stop the pain. They don’t have to be all for disability pride (like me) but they have to at least accept themselves no matter how hard it is. (Hey that would make an amazing character arc!) Honestly the only disability I love and accept about me is autism- but I’m trying. I don’t even recognize my other “disabilities” as disabilities, but everyone else does. They just make me suffer so bad that I see them as illnesses (something that CAN and SHOULD be taken away , unlike a disability a thing that CAN’T and SHOULDN’T be taken away) I don’t know , I hate my brain. But hey there’s a chance that I might learn to accept them someday , like I did with autism, even though I think it’s impossible.
Komi is really sweet with how the show represents social anxiety. I absolutely love it. I’ve read up to date with the current manga and it never gets old and is very sweet. I recommend it.
If there’s a part 4, I would suggest Woody from BFDI (non-verbal), Max from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, (autistic), and maybe David from bfdia (only says “aw, seriously” and “no”)
I enjoy being able to see all the representation through these videos. I’m hoping that you will make a part 4 as there is a Cartoon Network show known as Craig of the Creek that has some of the best representation I think I’ve seen in children’s media. The characters I think you should include is Jackie/The Arm [deaf], and JP [Autistic/neurodivergent]. Unfortunately I barley ever see Craig of the Creek get any recognition, so I’d be absolutely delighted if you included them in your next video. ❤

Seeing you including handy makes me happy :) I would suggest some of the other HTF characters but most of them have like, mental disorders. But I’ll suggest them anyways Flippy has severe PTSD and anything that reminds him of war makes him start killing everyone. He could also have DID Lammy possibly has schizophrenia because she’s the only character that sees her “companion”, Mr. Pickels, as a living being and not a pickle. This is debated in the fandom though. Petunia has OCD and whenever she sees something dirty she goes into panic mode Russell suffers from some kind of insanity disorder (I’ve heard it’s hysteria but after some research it’s not a diagnosis in the US anymore. Not to mention that he’s also missing an eye, a hand, and both his legs. Flaky has an anxiety disorder (not sure which one but it’s definitely there) Nutty has a severe addiction to candy and just sugar as a whole. He could also have ADHD but I don’t agree with it that much. Lifty and Shifty have kleptomania and are always stealing everything Handy (the one in this this video) is also a bit of a sociopath. And finally Disco Bear has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He’s always seen flirting with the female characters countless times despite them not being interested. I hope this helps! Recently in the Total Drama reboot they added a character with a prosthetic leg. His name is Zee and he is my one of my favorite characters. He is really cool and really chill.
There's also Pit from Kid Icarus. He's a bit like Scootaloo except he's an angel and also a captain of Palutena's Royal guard. There's also Shinichi/Conan but I have no idea what disability he technically has. There's still some other disabled characters in Detective Conan though.

1:24 HII, super bluey fan here to actually add onto this bit. Spoilers for the new episode, The Sign!! Brandy was actually shown to be pregnant! It wasn’t explicitly stated but she very clearly does have a baby bump, and Chili even rubs her belly in one bit in the background. We don’t know how she got pregnant. But we do know that Chili’s side of the family *seems* to have fertility issues! Chili went through a miscarriage before having Bluey. So, Brandy may not be completely infertile! But, she very well could’ve gone through some medical procedures, as some people have stated. I’ve forgotten what it’s called and how any of that works, so I can’t say much about it. Though, of course, this isn’t confirmed. It could be either one, but I just wanted to share it!

It's also been confirmed that Burntrap isn't actually William but rather the Mimic) Tom (Bendy And The Ink Machine) - Prosthetic user (He has a prosthetic arm.) @@project_lettersyou could theoretically just add the animations where he is featured, such as the one in his home and this one bigger animation that he appears in, also if you didn’t know that guy who “cut off his finger” didn’t actually cut it off, merely he just acted like he did and tried to prove himself to others (i guess?) in that way, needless to say, he didn’t actually do it, just simply made sounds that to the unassuming and unaware possibly could’ve sounded like he actually did (in reality though if you take a closer look at the audio clip of him “doing it” he sounds alot less in pain then someone who is actually getting their limb/digit removed unprofessionally and while still completely conscious, he more sounds like someone getting poked with a thumbtack or needle)

In addition to normal-ish comic panels, it also has a lot of animated sequences and very long walls of text, and a few parts of it are browser games (such as a part where a character is solving a puzzle in-universe being an actual playable puzzle game). To show characters from it, people generally use the animations.
To the last part, I know. That's why I said it since there isn't really proof of "sharpie bath" and it definitely doesn't represent the home stuck fandom as a whole. Same with Nagito kinnie cut off their finger. Fake story that puts a bad name on the entire fandom. Sure both fandoms are god awful but not everyone is (I love danganronpa)

Recently in the Total Drama reboot they added a character with a prosthetic leg. His name is Zee and he is my one of my favorite characters. He is really cool and really chill.
There's also Pit from Kid Icarus. He's a bit like Scootaloo except he's an angel and also a captain of Palutena's Royal guard.
There's also Shinichi/Conan but I have no idea what disability he technically has. There's still some other disabled characters in Detective Conan though.

Brandy was actually shown to be pregnant! It wasn’t explicitly stated but she very clearly does have a baby bump, and Chili even rubs her belly in one bit in the background. We don’t know how she got pregnant. But we do know that Chili’s side of the family *seems* to have fertility issues! Chili went through a miscarriage before having Bluey. So, Brandy may not be completely infertile! But, she very well could’ve gone through some medical procedures, as some people have stated. I’ve forgotten what it’s called and how any of that works, so I can’t say much about it.
Though, of course, this isn’t confirmed. It could be either one, but I just wanted to share it!

- Delgado is missing his hind legs and uses wheel prosthetics to run around.
- Dawkins and Da Vinci have been confirmed to be autistic by the creator. Da Vinci even has an episode (Doggy Da Vinci) where she has an autistic breakdown.

If a part 4 is happening, I want to see Michelle Marlon. Even though she's not from any series that is on tv, her using a wheelchair can be seen and described. "My disabled daughter" -Judgement of corruption, 2nd verse.
You know the "Michelle Marlon" mentioned in that song can't walk because she's a doll, right? Look it up, her father is a nutjob who couldn't cope with her death on a shipwreck, so he used this doll to pretend she was alive. He claims she's "disabled" because he wants to believe the doll is actually her when it's not.

William Afton (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator) - Amputee (In Pizzaria Simulator, he lost most of his left arm, as in not just the parts of the springlock suit but his actual arm from the elbow down. It's also been confirmed that Burntrap isn't actually William but rather the Mimic)
Tom (Bendy And The Ink Machine) - Prosthetic user (He has a prosthetic arm.)
Doomfist (Overwatch) - Prosthetic user (He lost his arm to the omnics and it was replaced with a mechanical arm with a giant metal fist)

I too am suffering from life threatening lumbago. When I first saw Uncle it made me sob with joy seeing that I was finally being represented in media. Thank you Rockstar Games for this amazing character.

Im here officially here on behalf of the Homestuck fandom requesting *Tavros Nitram* to be added because he's a wheelchair user and also eventually gets prosthetics
Home stuck is the sharpie bath guys right? Although I'd imagine saying that is like saying the danganronpa fandom is that person who cut of their finger 😂 I'm not familiar with homestuck so I'm not sure how I'd show a character from it. Is it a comic, a game, a TV series?
@@project_lettersyou could theoretically just add the animations where he is featured, such as the one in his home and this one bigger animation that he appears in, also if you didn’t know that guy who “cut off his finger” didn’t actually cut it off, merely he just acted like he did and tried to prove himself to others (i guess?) in that way, needless to say, he didn’t actually do it, just simply made sounds that to the unassuming and unaware possibly could’ve sounded like he actually did (in reality though if you take a closer look at the audio clip of him “doing it” he sounds alot less in pain then someone who is actually getting their limb/digit removed unprofessionally and while still completely conscious, he more sounds like someone getting poked with a thumbtack or needle)

@@project_letters Homestuck is a weird experimental online multimedia... thing, which is closer to being a webcomic than anything else. In addition to normal-ish comic panels, it also has a lot of animated sequences and very long walls of text, and a few parts of it are browser games (such as a part where a character is solving a puzzle in-universe being an actual playable puzzle game). To show characters from it, people generally use the animations.
To the last part, I know. That's why I said it since there isn't really proof of "sharpie bath" and it definitely doesn't represent the home stuck fandom as a whole. Same with Nagito kinnie cut off their finger. Fake story that puts a bad name on the entire fandom. Sure both fandoms are god awful but not everyone is (I love danganronpa)
