Bought this exact setup today, zenaq fokeeto twitch 7ft3 and paired it with a '23 saltiga 6000xh. It's my wedding gift to myself (weddings tomorrow) haha! Can't wait to put it to the test
it takes a keen eye, at around the 2:58 mark you can see a sneaky seal pop its head out of the water and look at you from just behind that big rock in the water.
Well that's all about how you treat the reels if you not put your hook ont reel foot , it will not chip mate I have that one my 2020 saltigas but I know it's my own fault because it's hook rash
@@teamjawsaustralia i own Shimano Vanquish reels and they're still smooth aesthetically. I'm about to get me a 23 Saltiga 4000 and someone posted in Daiwa FB group that Daiwas paintjob is awful, he said the paint started to come off after just 8 fishing sessions. I'm just concerned if that can be avoided with proper care, or chipping of paint is unavoidable even in flagship reel. Thank you Sir
the rod is a 7,3 it is a perfect balance with the 5000 h but it will also a good match with the 6000 h as the body of the reel is the same only with a bigger spool so only a very little weight difference.
@@teamjawsaustralia 7,3 can also fit reel size 6000? Because 6000 is exactly the size that I’m looking for. But I’m just afraid it is too big for 7’ rod?
No mate I'm a Japan tackle junky lol and only use Japanese handmade stuff I know it's crazy but that me hahah the rod was 800 AU dollars so far I know the shop where I got it from is not allowed to ship internationally you have to look if some stores in the US sell them as well mate

It's is a dream to fish with mate so light but still handles big fish 🐟 with ease
why did you choose the 6000xh over the 6000h?

That would be a very rare suprise as I live in the wet tropics and we don't have seals here
@@teamjawsaustralia could even be a sea turtle.
Nice rod. The quality and action seems very similar to my GLoomis Imx-pro Blue 843 sf. Not too stiff, but a lot of backbone when needed.
Hi i wondered if the 6000 matches good with zenaq sonio 93m
Hi mate 5000 or 6000 will be a very good match for it ,
quick question, does your Saltiga's paint chip in the Footing part? or is it still in pristine condition?

@@ryan26i hi mate like I said the paint is not coming of on here own , it will happend when it get hook rash or from rock fishing .
Have the same setup. My favorite combo.
Absolutely mate 👍 he'll of a combo and capable of way more than it looks like

@@teamjawsaustralia My friend, I just bought my Daiwa Saltiga 6000XH 11/24/2023. I'm surprise how small the size 6000XH is.
How does this compare to Century Weapon Mag 7'3" ? It has similar specs. I can't decide
hi mate sorry can't comment on that as i don't' know this rods .
Did you happen to try GLoomis? Also, how much was this Zenaq rod and is there a way to get it shipped to the US?

TomosTackle in Mass is the only dealer in US/North American. Very knowledgable and I basically get everything there or from AU now
@@teamjawsaustralia Thanks! Found it here for $700. American prices 😆
@@brianwalsh3254 Brian, how are these rods compared to the best US counterparts?
