I liked the part where mm said "I'm gonna glam all over you" only for CPico to say: "Ok but this is a [ FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN REIMAGINED ] GLAMMED GLOW-UP!"
I literally came right on time to see this, and boy was I lucky. The wait was definitely worth it, this is literally so good. Starting with the cutscene at the start, showing MM in Dispatch-state getting slightly more corrupted, then closing her eyes. These sound effects in the cutscene make this seem straight out of some action movie or game. Liz truly captured the lighting when the song begins, it makes feel like they're surviving some zombie apocalypse. Great job to Liz though! Pico's first sprite here is REALLY good, his uncorruption marks on his hair remind me a lot of the old Reimagined MM Day 2. The 'dripping' effect on Pico's face makes it look like Pico would be freed, and it looks really nice. I'm noticing the detail on the sprites as well, and I must say you did an amazing job on them. MM actually looking at Pico with full anger looks really badass. The uncorrupted X shape on Pico's chest is a acool detail as well. That flicker effect for the shine on MM's eyes make her sprite 10x better. Another cool detail is when Pico shoots himself with the blood splatter and all, you can see a tear on the corner of his eye, making it seem that what he's doing is actually hurting him, which makes a ton of sense considering his corrupted side is heavily weakened, its super nice. Pico's second sprite is just even better. You can't exactly see it, but this detail on Pico's spread is really well made, you can tell a lot of effort was put into it. His X uncorruption mark on his chest growing bigger, along with the spread on his hair, gives that feeling of a good ending, since he's being freed a lot more than he was on the OG Reimagined. I like how you can see him having a more worried expression on his face, as if those bullets he's firing into his skull are actually working on *him*, and not his evil counterpart. The sprite looks really well though, and looks a lot like the old Reimagined Schizophrenzy Pico sprite. I will say that MM's sprites look a lot smoother in this, that could just be me though. These sprites after Pico recorrupts a little are definitely my favorite in this. MM looking furious because she's starting to lose, and Pico's sprite, with his Devastation-esque spread, make it feel like he's about to lose. CPico's inactive eye gaining some scar is really cool. More cool details I like are the cracks on Pico's hair, which actually have a reason for being there now, and his X shape on his chest seemingly getting more bold after recorruption are some really interesting details. The Henchmen though look a little off-place, but its nothing major. Pico's second recorruption sprite is one of my favorites here, now, he actually looks Devastated, the spread looks really nice as well. I noticed his corruption teeth weren't formed yet, I'd like to assume because he's losing at a very rapid rate, and they don't have time to form. I'm loving the number of sprites used in this, it gives so much more detail and makes this so much more enjoyable. Like I said a couple sentences ago about his corruption teeth, them forming right after, along with him getting slightly more corrupted, give a true Devastation feel. The use Extrication-like corruption animation is played really well, and I'm loving the detail on it. His fully recorrupted sprite is one of the coolest i've seen. It looks a lot like your Distress glow up, thats a really neat detail there. Him glowing and yet still having the dripping effect on his face make him look truly *insane*. Damn, I just noticed MM's sprite after Pico recorrupts. You can see the noticable breath cloud, and along with her expression and her corruption level, you can tell she's trying her hardest. But dang, I was not expecting the video to have THIS much detail. MM's final sprite looks really interesting, and I'm excited to see her design in future glow-ups, since it looks noticably different than usual. MM having the white eye glow instead of her red one was a smart addition. One thing I forgot to mention previously were the icons. The icons look REALLY well-made and actually match the sprites. Spectacular job on this, Gray! I'll say this is probably your best glow up yet. Great work to everyone who worked on this, and I'll look forward to future videos.
