- Darnell has left, and now it's just Boyfriend and Pico on their own, facing off in what could possibly be a final showdown. Boyfriend may be strong, but Pico has a few final tricks up his sleeve, and with the situation getting dire, it may be time to use them. The small details like BF getting scars each time he's uncorrupted and recorrupted is what keeps me wanting more of this series. I love where it's going so far.

Darnell is honestly the biggest example of a glass canon I have seen in any corruption mod. Sure he can uncorrupt people sure well but he can be corrupted VERY quickly.
Pico on the other hand can resist it and uncorrupt himself and can uncorrupt others a bit

In the mid of the song, pico succeeded to uncorrupt himself and bf but it was not at all enough for BF to regain consciousness
This was awesome! The fact that Pico tried shielding his vision once Darnell fully corrupted is a nice touch, and shows that Pico really is trying his best to focus, however his feelings still got to him. Over all, great work!

I love the way Pico is singing. It genuinly sounds like he is rapping than just repeating his sounds over and over.
Ironically he do repeat his rhymes, but in the way that I like. Just like some sort of song with lyrics and chorus, but has beep bops instead of words.

It was one of the most dynamic and intense battles, despite the fact that Pico lost, he held on very dignifiedly, making BF a real competition, who knows, maybe if not for Darnell, who knocked Pico's mood, it would have been a solo victory.
Upd: I just realized that the letters represent the lives of the characters. The first letter is BF, the next two are Pico and Darnell. In day two, they became dim, and now they are completely gone.

I just realized something, if the lights go out whenever a character is corrupted, and dim when partially corrupted, then girlfriend isn't corrupted at all in this version of corruption because there's only three lights that are out, and none of the others are dimmed. Either she's joining one or both of her parents, or there's going to be a gf vs probably evil bf or evil pico week.

Darnell, unable to control his body, or literally doing what he said he was gonna do in the previous episode, comes back, ruins Pico’s chances and puts the A and L to rest, F.

Not at the ending.
It started right before Darnell showed up
Sacrilege, Shachath, and Angel's Grace. Seeing this week actually built up suspense in me. The first day caught my attention, and the second day had me fully hooked. The third day coming out right after I finished the other two completely made my day. Everything about this is great.
The expressions. I love them. The way that BF looks at Pico after Darnell lost in just about 20 seconds almost made me die laughing.
The details, and the story. I love how Pico turns into an angel and probably could have won solo, until Darnell comes in. Darnell just wanted to help his friend, and ended up costing them both their lives in the end. Pico shielded his vision from Darnell, and it actually made me feel bad to see those two best friends lose each other just because they wanted to help each other. And the way Pico falls and awakens actually gave me chills. I probably would have fallen out of my chair if he looked at BF and then at the screen, kind of like how BF stared at the player in the OG corruption.
In the end, this is probably not only one of the best CORRUPTION mods, but one of the best mods ever in general. Great job on this, Funkin' Hellbeats Corruption Team. And keep up the amazing work. But also remember to take breaks. I've tried making sprites, and songs, and I gave up halfway through.
Sorry for the blazing long comment. Just had to express my love for this series into words. And I didn't fit one tenth of it in there. There's just no way that I could.

Week 2 is gonna be a slow build-up, but I think it could knock this out of the park if we can execute it, and then going further we only intend to make the best stuff we can :P

Such an amazing concept needs an amazing team which needs an amazing creator. Also, I see some mods busting out vids every few weeks. You guys are able to do this in such a short time? Wow. I've been working on ONE sprite sheet for about a year. Seems excessive, right? You guys can make animations for characters, and all of that in a few days. Wow. This week overall was simply amazing. And this battle was the perfect finale to Pico's week. I love his angel, fully corrupted design, and the fact he was actually putting up a great fight was surprising. Hell, it looks like he would've actually won.
But we know how the corruption works. It always likes to fuck with people mentally. And whether Darnell ignored Pico's advice to run and get help or the corruption controlled his body to where it forced him to come back, I'm not sure. I'm assuming it's the former but the latter would make perfect sense since once Darnell fell, Pico's willpower would fade And by then, the battle was already over.
BF didn't exactly seem like a angel who knows how to throw hands but Pico definitely was. So it's scary to imagine what a Corrupted Angel Pico is capable of. Anyway, great job overall! Can't wait to see the other weeks!

I just noticed a big nice detail
Not only the song is a banger and the sprites are insane, but I've noticed something with the logo :
When Boyfriend got corrupted first in the prologue, the letter "F" of "Fallen Angels" got black
When Darnell and Pico got corrupted here, the "A" and the first "L" got black too
This could mean, if I am correct, that every time there is a new victim, one letter goes out ! That means there will be 12 victims in total

this also means that for the first time, we will see a mod where skid and pump are both uncorrupted, since only 3 lights on the fallen angels are shut off(representing BF, Pico and Darnell)

AUGHGHBHFGDF i am actually in love with this series- i love the scars bf gets upon recorruption n the sprite changes n pico's design and darnell's reappearance and when pico finally falls to the corruption- all the design elements just come together SO WELL and the music n the charting and the atmosphere... i could literally go on i love this -myriad
I have a feeling that Darnell didn't come back intentionally. While he was in control, I feel like the corruption manipulated his feelings and made him believe returning to help Pico was the right decision. It was already clear Darnell didn't want to leave Pico behind in the last episode, so the corruption likely messed with Darnell knowing it would bring Pico down.

This has been insanely surprising. At first, I was surprised by evil bf's vocals, and then pico's anguish. The innocence of the skid and pump, the agony of dad, everything was amazing. It was a great inspiration to me by introducing a spirit that had never appeared at all, and the most surprising thing is the song. I have never heard or imagined such beautiful music. And look at the length of the song, it's a whopping 51⁵¹ seconds. How did it come to be so perfect? It's amazing.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

After rewatching this many times, I noticed something that nobody has noticed: Once the corruption spreads more on pico to the point where he has chains on himself, that pico stops attacking corrupted bf. I wonder if that is supposed to be a minor detail, but whether it's intentional or not, it still fits great because the chains kind of signify that pico is unable to attack corrupted bf anymore.

This is amazing so much stories and many lyrics possibilities we'll be wait for more Hellbeats Fallen Angel days to come before we start writing it. Hey I'm the guy who had that first fanart on the side and I just wanted to say how much I love this mod. This is the only corruption mod that I look forward to other than reimagined because of how well made this is and it actually got me cheering for the uncorrupted person because of how FUCKING GOOD it was too see the music is like a guitar in my ears, the animations sprites and everything else makes me visibly shaken up and for god sake the story IS AMAZING. The was you play it out and how you establish relationships is probably the best thing I've seen than what any other corruption mods have tried, this is what I think all fnf mods should be like (goddammit Darnell :( )

Man, this was awesome, I love the suspense and struggle between pico and bf, i was even rooting for pico to win! this is really intense, and the corruption feels really evil even with the smile it has when pico is losing...this series is awesome so far and the songs are good, but with and angel even barely phasing the corruption, this seems like a suspenseful series. This is very good! i cant really fully explain how good this is bc i cant put words, but good luck on the rest of this guys!

Hey guys, Soulless Advocate here. This was absolutely amazing, the animations felt so smooth and fluid, the song was golden, and the small details when Pico starts to free BF were amazing. This definitely outdoes some of the takeover stuff, my one complaint is that i can barely see Peter Griffin on the left, you should make him more visible if you release a playable build, can´t wait to see more from you in the future!

Pico, was able to break himself out of a previous thick corruption with a little bit of focus. He was on the right path, even shown by him beginning to incorruptible boyfriend. But Pico is very, very selfless; mainly in this mod. So seeing one of his best friends “die” before him… “You’re* (🤓) stronger than this” was in the Orange font, so “His death was your fault,” and “You failed him” were likely Pico’s thoughts too. He couldn’t stand one of his best friends getting corrupted before him. Not to mention he’s doing all of this for somebody else, not only that, but the excitation of Picos corruption ONLY even BEGINS to happen after and right after Darnel came. Pico was even starting to smile before hand. Right after When Darnel came, Pico became weary and evidently afraid. After he was corrupted, Pico began to cry and sheild his eyes; his posture low, which is a sign of diminishing confidence.

Late to the party, but I absolutely love Pico's corrupted design. My interpretation of the design is that the corruption literally has to CHAIN HIM because he's so damn powerful. He started to uncorrupt BF, BY HIMSELF, mind you, and could've won if Darnell didn't show up at the end there. As a long time fan of the OG corruption series, I already fucking love this series to bits. Can't wait to see more!

I absolutely love the idea of 1. Corrupted BF emotionally manipulating his victims into submission and 2. everyone who has been corrupted acting almost like a hive mind, it just adds to creepy nature of the corruption
I’m very happy with how the corruption community make cool things like this.
It also gives potential the corruption mod could’ve had and this is the best corruption mod in my opinion

Good detail.
I feel like PIco is almost impossible to make sound bad in these mods. The original FNF did an amazing job creating a really unique sound and rhythm to his songs and I think people just subconsciously follow that trend in their mods. Sometimes they re-use the beats from those songs a bit much but in general it's just hard to not make Pico sound good.

Fun Fact: When a character is getting corrupted they will have full control over their body until they are fully corrupted, if someone is fully corrupted and starts to get uncorrupted the corruption will have full control over their body until they are almost or fully uncorrupted.
This mod is already one of my top ranked mods for fnf! Everyone did an outstanding job on this, can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future!!

Theory: the voice is actually Darnell’s corruption talking to Darnell to make him fight and get fully corrupted
I feel like Darnell couldnt control his situation since he was already too far gone after day 2. And thats why he came back, He possibly was hallucinating a different situation than what was actually happening. Or he just couldn't control his movement.

It seems like everything was stacked against Pico, to be entirely honest. Darnell, coming back to him against Pico's wishes, CBF calling for backup (which seems to be popular against Pico; he almost always gets ganged up on in corruption mods), Darnell's near immediate corruption, and there's just an overwhelming aura of "Pico is fucked" in this week, even as he seems to make progress uncorrupting BF. Unfortunate.
The funny thing is that if it wasn't for darnell coming back for some reason, pico would've actually won

before darnell reappears, you can see a bit of BF's hair/hat behind him, signifying some sort of progress on pico's part. and that sock in the eye CBF gets cant help either.

It is a dodge thing, just took out the beep and text for the vid
y'know, i like to think that the corruption chose bf because it knew about the player, and because the player has infinite retries, the corruption knew that they'd be their best bet towards taking over everything. so when he starts to free himself, the corruption gets desperate to keep him trapped, because if he gets freed, the player wins. no matter what, because of their infinite retries.
This is one of the best mods I had seen so far just wow! the characters the music the background everything is just good sn the mod i will tell everyone to see this amazing mod :D

A year has passed since this was released and honestly I want to praise it. YES, I’m fully aware of what the creator did, and I don’t support her actions at all. But this shouldn’t be forgotten because of what she did, the song is amazing and the art is really cool (I love how expressive BF is). Really cool song, from a really cool mod that got canceled by a really bad action, to bad we won’t be able to play this

they realize that at first pico recites something and becomes an angel after darnell corrupts him at minute 3:11 he tries to recite the same thing to become an angel but there is a lot of Corruption, finally theories?
Well he is already in his angel form hes just getting corrupted because of his feelings. But thats just a transition effect in the main game or it could be him trying to do the same thing idk.
fun fact: if you look closely, you can see a burst of flame rush down before darnell appears

The Angelic Duo have fallen to the Hellish and Darkened Corruption, yet not without a fight.
It's unknown how strong these two are going to be now under control of the corruption, or rather the new victims to be attacked by it.
Maybe... two children are going to be on their way to be hunted next by those monsters, who knows?
