Hi Sir, examiner ask me "how will you pass a isolated danger buoy"?
How should I answer? I menation it is "Isolated" and I should also look at the chart and pass well clear. He ask (or maybe I lead him into asking) how many CPA to pass?
I will refer to the charts and publications and determine the isolated danger. As there is safe water all around the mark, as per the chart/publication we can decide which route to take.
Underway or at anchor..how to know the difference in these day cards
At Anchor you can identify by the black ball at the forward.

yes, there should not be any masthead light. also fog signals has an error. it should be 1 prolong followed by 2 short blast.
As it is propelled by machinery it becomes Power Driven vessel and will have navigational lights for the PD.
Yes it will show masthead light. As it will behave as a PDV.
