Corruption contributed to the problem of maintenance culture. If govt take seriously the transportation business as personal govt responsibility, maintenance will not be a problem. It is about time govt took transportation, housing, agricultural, healthcare, and education seriously as a business.
You can only maintain when you have spare parts. You can only have spare parts when you manufacture them yourself. You can only manufacture them when there is incentive to manufacture, when your people and your government purchase your products instead of always thirsting for imported goods.. We are the ones that run down our country by continuing to constantly choose imports over local.
