At our state's air show, there was an Avenger in flying condition that did a few photo fly-bys. Plus a non-flying one at the adjacent air museum. Ever since, I've wanted to build a model of one. This kit is on my list of ones to build.

Saw one flying Reno air races. Definitely a big plane for only a single engine. She flew with her tail low. Not sure if just bad trim or lack of fuel and payload. I know there were a few planes that suffered from this. The Black Widow and the Ventura come to mind.

Ive seen a couple fly at airshows and they look huge and lumbering! Doesn't look like it should fly!
