I spent 50 minutes in the starting area exploring because it was so jam packed with world building. Most of the people who play it just try to rush through the game so they can release a video.
People like dumb shoot things ask questions later, people complain about the talking but I like hearing the lore and the way things work in the world, what does he just want to run things and kill everything? What is it call of duty. People didn't like scorn because they wanted it to be doom, and think it has no story where it actually tells a big story through it's visuals, but people too impatient and silly to piece it together themselves. They can't handle being told things, they can't handle having to use their brain, they just want huur durr shooty shoots.
I literally wanted to quit to the xbox home screen and uninstall the game. Especially at the very first area. When I get like that with any game I immediately uninstall it but this one made me stay just because of the twin bots. I’m glad it did because I ended up enjoying the gameplay more and more and the story too. An oh man those bots did not disappoint 😂

Honestly , love the atmosphere but to me the first mini boss ninja bot with laser is a pain in the ass, it's literally dark souls style 😅, you are locked in tiny arena and have two bullets in a shotgun , beat this 😂😂😂 almost uninstalled
@@tonylight2761 I think it’s annoying because it was the first truly tanky and aggressive enemy we faced. In all honestly though, it was probably there intentionally. A boss who swung at you strong and fast forced you to “dance”, slowly learning the movesets and learning not to dodge haphazardly. The laser forcing you to learn ranged attacks and how to dodge. It was the equivalent to Dark Souls 3 boss in being a “system” test.

When you die to the bosses it just reloads you at the start of the fight so if you didn’t prepare properly you’re kind of screwed, but I didn’t know there would be a boss there and barely had any bullets to get his health down by like 10 percent. He is very tanky and hits hard, but he has a relatively small move set and once you figure them out the fight becomes easier. The fight becomes even more easy when you start using adrenaline items, damage boost, and things like that. And by that point in the game you should have a good amount of them. It did remind me a lot of dark souls too though which is a good thing

Nice review with a cool kid vibe narration. The looting mechanic in this game is by far my favorite over any game I've played, not only is it aesthetically satisfying but it's also not tedious. Looking through every nooks and cranny is my favorite pass time. The interesting part is that you can tell the main character is being control by something implanted in his head that altered his personality. I've notice when they're riding the flying car, Charles was surprised P-3 never ride one before. At granny Xena hut, he mentioned about his head injury and losing some of his memory. Anyway I'm interested to find why Patreo sabotaged the robots to make them killed his own people? P-3 and Viktor Petrov could be good friends if they only have a chance to talk because now I realize Patreo wanted the US to know that the Russian are creating sophisticated killer robots that look like human. The most intriguing and underrated feature is the talking glove call Charles. A true genius! I wonder why only the main character has it. Update. As I'm getting deeper into the game, I've learned that the glove was giving to P-3 by his boss (Dmitry Sechenov). I haven't beaten the game yet. I'm still at the quest call Made in USSR, but found a spoiler that answer some of my question regarding the P-3 memory lost. It turn out the robot twins, one of them is P-3 wife. They're use as sex slaves for the Russian Elite. This explains the horny fridge. My favorite weapons is the electro pistol and the swirling axe. For my build, I like old fashion and invested all the points into health and elemental resist. For damage I maxed my pistol and axe. I just imagine I'm playing the Barbarian from Diablo 2 using whirlwind to vanquished my enemies. Quick draw against flying units with my Electro. Head shot a fly punching robot in midair was the most satisfying. This game is part RPG, part shooting and part puzzle. For RPG I always looks for large hoard of robots to farm. The only thing I don't like is lack of robot to kill.

went right in Armageddon-mode! never used adrenalin or any of the other consumables, just healing-items (a lot) obviously and the elemental cartridges. i had a bunch of both since i stored it all as best as i could at the start of the game, cuz i thought the resourcess to craft items are a bit more rare and i pretty much recycled everything, i found to be obsolete for my purposes... so, i f i really was in need of pretty much anything, i was able to craft it. then i upgraded Frostbite and Polymet Jet and used it in combination with it, or with elemental cartridges, Polymer Jet underrated i say, especially good in combo with fire against Plyush, also i found melee to be the best way to fight most bosses, at least for a portion of the fight.
4:29 that area you needed to kill the wall plants, so they do not spawn small plants that infect the dead bodies, it was simple for me and I finished the game on highest difficulty, most important gun you need it the rocket launcher for the bosses and carry at least 12 rockets or 24 if you will encounter 2 bosses.
Bro I’m playing it on Hard and at first it’s tough but you really do get skilled at the combat. And I switch my play style from time to time because it gets tough with all the different enemies.
The spore rooms were hard for the first time you experienced it. Then everytime you see the walls have spore factories on them just cut all the bodies on the floor and theres literally no problem at all. Kinda anti climactic for a boss room. But its the price of the emersssion

I'm hoping to do a melee only run at some point For that garden room, I think you can control the population of those zombies by killing the spawners before hand and slicing up the bodies. I had almost no enemies appear for me outside of the floater things and the few bodies that I missed. I was on normal difficulty for the opening section of the game though.
I'm almost done with the game playing on the hardest difficulty I think I've only died like 5 times 🤣 still very fun game and the song that plays in the theater is badass.
Tbh the game isnt that hard maxing out the shotty 1-2 shots kill most enemies at close range get a kalash a bit later and you golden for entire of the game. Bossess are quite only hard one was the one you have to fight melee. The only parts I died was near the end when there was a metric crap ton enemies with little to non resupply stations.

i honestly found the game too much easy im playing in armageddon and cameras barely spot me and i dont have many problems i actually waited for the upgrade for the armor and hp cause i thought would be too op xD i think playing it with the joystick is hard you can barely move

Update. As I'm getting deeper into the game, I've learned that the glove was giving to P-3 by his boss (Dmitry Sechenov).
I haven't beaten the game yet. I'm still at the quest call Made in USSR, but found a spoiler that answer some of my question regarding the P-3 memory lost. It turn out the robot twins, one of them is P-3 wife. They're use as sex slaves for the Russian Elite.

My favorite weapons is the electro pistol and the swirling axe. For my build, I like old fashion and invested all the points into health and elemental resist. For damage I maxed my pistol and axe.
I just imagine I'm playing the Barbarian from Diablo 2 using whirlwind to vanquished my enemies. Quick draw against flying units with my Electro.

This game is part RPG, part shooting and part puzzle.
For RPG I always looks for large hoard of robots to farm. The only thing I don't like is lack of robot to kill.

went right in Armageddon-mode!
never used adrenalin or any of the other consumables,
just healing-items (a lot) obviously and the elemental cartridges.
i had a bunch of both since i stored it all as best as i could at the start of the game,
cuz i thought the resourcess to craft items are a bit more rare and i pretty much recycled everything, i found to be obsolete for my purposes...
so, i f i really was in need of pretty much anything, i was able to craft it.
then i upgraded Frostbite and Polymet Jet and used it in combination with it, or with elemental cartridges,
Polymer Jet underrated i say, especially good in combo with fire against Plyush, also i found melee to be the best way to fight most bosses,
at least for a portion of the fight.
4:29 that area you needed to kill the wall plants, so they do not spawn small plants that infect the dead bodies, it was simple for me and I finished the game on highest difficulty, most important gun you need it the rocket launcher for the bosses and carry at least 12 rockets or 24 if you will encounter 2 bosses.

The spore rooms were hard for the first time you experienced it. Then everytime you see the walls have spore factories on them just cut all the bodies on the floor and theres literally no problem at all. Kinda anti climactic for a boss room. But its the price of the emersssion

For that garden room, I think you can control the population of those zombies by killing the spawners before hand and slicing up the bodies. I had almost no enemies appear for me outside of the floater things and the few bodies that I missed. I was on normal difficulty for the opening section of the game though.

Tbh the game isnt that hard maxing out the shotty 1-2 shots kill most enemies at close range get a kalash a bit later and you golden for entire of the game. Bossess are quite only hard one was the one you have to fight melee. The only parts I died was near the end when there was a metric crap ton enemies with little to non resupply stations.
Playing it on hard difficulty. It needs persistence, just like any souls-like game for instance. If you insist you get it.
