The actually architecture and size of the house is really nice, great actually, but design wise from exterior to interior is really off. The kitchen island and the kitchen in general is really irking me😂, the flow is just off, it’s disconnected, the tiling and colour choices isn’t the best and the wardrobes made the rooms smaller, I feel like it would’ve been better to actually have them built into the walls to maximise space not just have them stuck to the walls. Plus I noticed that it’s not really tall people friendly, anyone taller than Matt would have a little bit of hard navigating the upstairs areas. And the windows could definitely have been bigger.
The entrance and the entrance hall was the most dissapointing . The entrance door cud have been double door a and taller and the entrance hall sud have been open and airy .the small main door and the entrance hall gave a rly crammed feeling even in such a big house
Definitely agree with both of you Edit: The second bedroom (with the sloping roof) would be better as a guest/children’s bedroom, with the single beds under the eaves. with a double bed in the middle, it would cause issues getting out of bed. Just a thought.
Almost a mil for a garage that you can’t get a modern car in, a north facing garden, a weirdly disjointed kitchen / diner / utility / living area, and annoying fitted wardrobes 🤣
I can't believe they would build a brand new house with a double garage and you can't even fit in a 'modern car'! Why put the bricks in the middle making it two small garages rather than just one large one? Poor planning and building there.
i dont get why it wouldn't be a 2 and a half garage ample space and just have more space either side of the double door as well as more space upstairs in the bedroom
didn’t believe they’d actually do that, but then at 2:50 i stopped watching😂😂someone who can afford such a house, will want to keep their posh car in a garage
Completely agree. Such a big investment and to be limited on the car dimensions is a massive planning failure. And they would expect you to downsize your car to accommodate... pass
Very Secluded Beautiful Home! I just wanted to say I love that you feature floor plan in your tours, It really gives a better prospective to the home and placement of everything. Love the video! Xx
Thanks for the walkthrough, always enjoy your tours. A nice size house and plot, probably a dash overpriced, should probably be around £800-850K. Not the best room layout I have seen but always pay the premium for having it finished as new rather than having to do it yourself on a used house. The kitchen looked nice, though I didn't like the flooring join between the dining and family area. Those windows are quite small for the room sizes also, may struggle with light in the bedrooms. Liked the doors, but felt like they should have used properly fitted wardrobes to give a more premium feel for this price point. The hallway going under the stairs looks a little low, did you need to duck under them? Garden looked awesome though, loved the tree! Above all, always enjoy getting to look around, so thank you.
Why would anybody build a new house and make the garage to small for modern cars? Either make it a single garage or expand it to the side, there’s room!
The homes are all very different, you won't know from just looking at one. I know quite a few families there, and the one thing they have in common is their need for privacy...not like these new money home owners/build a home companies. Likely they won't be let in.
This is my favourite house I've seen so far on your channel. I absolutely love it if I had the money and could put it anywhere I would buy it. Thanks for showing us
What do you think of bathrooms which are half tiled? For that price it seems a bit cheap not to fully tile the bathrooms. Is it considered a bit naff to tile up to the ceiling? Am I missing something?
I love this house it’s like my dream house lol it’s amazing and I love how you guys describe all the houses with so much detail I want to be an interior designer so looking at the houses you show gives me ideas lol but the way you describe it makes me feel like I am actually there so glad I found your channel it’s amazing x 💖😊
A charming house but the ceilings seem a little low. It might be difficult to install decent light fittings in many of the rooms. Otherwise it's a spacious and lovely house.
The ceilings made me wonder if Matt was around 7' tall! He almost couldn't clear the door frames in the house, I was surprised it was never addressed in the video, haha.
Great video, beautiful home, however The laminated floors lets the property down. At that price you'd expect real wood floors the same colour as the staircase.
If I had small children, I would turn that room above the garage into a playroom, teenagers? Billiard table (snooker), foosball table, chairs, tv, nice hangout. I’m not a huge fan of formal lounges but it’s a beautiful home
Wow! This would make a great family home...so spacious and lots of storage. Really like the fresh interiors...love all the bathrooms and kitchen looks stunning. Outside space is great aswell...especially backing onto woodlands. Looking forward to more videos.
when i’m at school moaning about how i don’t like it there i will motivate myself with this house and say if i want a good future i will need to work hard to get it ! love this vid 💖
I like the videos and you are being more creative as you build them. That's nice to see. The one thing I would ask is what you are doing with the mic audio in post production? It sounds like you are applying a heavy gate to remove background noise but that is also encroaching on your voice(s). Also sounds like a software compressor and possibly exciter is being used in the audio which is extending resonance when you are speaking in open spaces. The benefit of using close-mics is that you should be able to get a nice warm and natural voice sound which brings the viewer closer to you and their attention to what you are saying. Drop me a note if you aren't sure what I mean. Keep up the good stuff...
Hey, this was an old video where our mics were on the wrong setting and we would sometimes use noise removal on Final Cut Pro when outside. Our audio in recent videos are a lot better :) Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it
@@TheLuxuryHomeShow Ah okay - maybe I'm watching your videos in reverse order :-) as they pop-up. Thanks for dropping a note back so fast. Maybe stick a gopro in an oven looking out and film yourself with a quick cut to opening it etc. Lots you can do to keep spicing them up. Have fun!
Normally I would say the price isn’t worth but I think this one was well worth it. There’s soo much space which is a nice win for me and also the tree tops it off. Great video guys and the editing is improving.
I can't believe how much you can get for the money in the Midlands! Lovely house for a new build. :) Only negative for me is the proximity of the neighbour - but I'm used to being a bit more spaced out.
Hi Matt and Summer, probably one of our favourite videos so far but you'd need a bike to ride around this big house. Whoever lives here in the future will certainly be spoilt for choice in luxury and space, we wouldn't say no to this house but our bank account would definitely say no sorry 😐 This house would have been nice with a central staircase in the middle of the hallway, loved the little media room off the hallway. It is a nice hallway, there's nothing wrong with it. The garages look a bit under sized for this property, not being stereotypical or anything but we could imagine the sort of people that would be able to afford and live in a property like this would have Range Rovers or equivalent so the garages would have to suit big high SUV or MPV cars surely! The bath in the ensuite would be better raised on a higher level plinth so you can see out of the window and wave to the neighbours and passers-by while you are having a bath haha 😄 (We hadn't realised but this bedroom and ensuite are at the back of the house not the front like we'd first thought so in that case maybe while having a bath you could wave at your neighbours whilst they are mowing the lawn instead hehe) 🤣 The wardrobes should be fitted up to the ceiling or a walk in closset type for just shy of a million pounds but who am I to say? At the end of the day, this house would be out of our league but very nice all the same 😀 Regards Alec.
Nice exterior and good internal size but some questionable colour combinations and old fashioned tiling in bathrooms. The change in colour of flooring from kitchen to the dining area is v odd.
Lovely lovely house! Massive garden and great finishes but for almost 1M I'm sorry but I dont want any neighbours that close LOL! Plus the master was made small with those terrible wardrobes, should have a walk in for this price or a bit more space
Sorry, actually I am not sorry, this house ain’t worth 950k, damn! The max I’d pay for it would be about 400k! First, it’s not as luxurious as I’d expect for an almost 1M pounds home. Second, those wardrobes are an eyesore, who thought of that nightmare?? Third, the rooms are really small. Fourth, the downstairs wasn’t planned well, just three rooms all far from each other, why not just do an open plan downstairs with a separate living area? I don’t know about you but I ain’t paying more than 400k for that house.
Loved this one! But a question: why is it that British homes don’t have trees or shrubs in the front garden and very few in the rest of the garden except along the perimeter?
I really loved this house but I'd have to spend £10-15k on the place first before moving in. Just wished the location was Romford, Essex. Toft Lane, Dunchurch, Rugby, CV22 6BF

Got a new build house for 750k just outside Brighton that has 4 bedrooms but all the bedrooms are way bigger than these bedrooms. The garden is also bigger and It's right in the country side. I thought you got more for your money up north?
Feels quite boxy. Maybe because off the low ceilings. Would be nice if the windows were bigger too to let more light in. The developers had the space for better execution but overall a decent house.

Do you mean consistency??
Its consistency
The actually architecture and size of the house is really nice, great actually, but design wise from exterior to interior is really off. dukeofpkr yeah very dated to me
Yep totally agree. If only the kitchen island was put parallel to the ovens with the cooker and ovens accessible in a turning movement . Oh well.!!
I would have the garage bedroom made into a dressing room and take the wardrobes out of the master room. Love it
I thought the same thing!
Me too
Nice house but for 50k short of a million the garden looks poor in parts and the tiles and laminate look cheap
Almost a mil for a garage that you can’t get a modern car in, a north facing garden, a weirdly disjointed kitchen / diner / utility / living area, and annoying fitted wardrobes 🤣
Such a big house yet so dark...
yeah your western everything is dark and useless because your not only useless but also play dirty
your only like bully weak fear power evil best forever
For the price, they could have done walk-in wardrobe or proper fitted wardrobes - like bedroom 4, wtf lol

What a beautiful garden, and magnificent tree. That alone is the highlight of this house.
Hold on... double garage that is too small for a car. So basically, it's a double shed.
Why would anybody build a new house and make the garage to small for modern cars? Either make it a single garage or expand it to the side, there’s room!
And no direct access from the garage into the house?!
Terrible design choices.
@@kamma44
Sure
Builders lost the plot with garage, no garage 🥴.
Such a nice house🤩 The kitchen looked like it didn’t have a very good flow! The sink area just looked far away!
You could possibly add a dinner table in between to fill the gap
The best feature in the whole house is underfloor heating love installing it 😍😍
Would you be able to do some property tours of the Four Oaks Estate in Sutton Coldfield.

What do you think of bathrooms which are half tiled? For that price it seems a bit cheap not to fully tile the bathrooms. Is it considered a bit naff to tile up to the ceiling? Am I missing something?
I would totally redesign the layout of the house and addition to behind the garage. Ground floor being a pantry & a first floor a master bedroom
I feel like this should be around 500K it would cost that if it was an old house right? or is that area just premium?
Where the f”@k do you live jaywick 🤣
Defiantly more than £500k I’d say £800k

Almost a million for the house and Family bathroom is half-tiled!
£950,000 and the flooring is laminate?:
Wdym? Is that bad?
@@user-kp4ii5eu2w would have expected proper wood flooring for that price 😊
Expect hard wood floors
A charming house but the ceilings seem a little low. It might be difficult to install decent light fittings in many of the rooms. Otherwise it's a spacious and lovely house.

low ceiling all over the house.

As it’s new I expect the landscaping is left for the new buyer to plan, that is normal on new properties here.
20 minute video! Thank you
More longer videos on the way!
Why build a garage too small for a regular car, with all that space?
One day I will buy a house in the UK.
This house not worth the price to be honest. 600k is fair.
I really loved this house but I'd have to spend £10-15k on the place first before moving in.
Just wished the location was Romford, Essex.
Toft Lane, Dunchurch, Rugby, CV22 6BF
In Kidderminster in west Midlands this would cost you around 700,000 crazy how prices differ !!
Everyone is talking about how the garage doors are too small but I don’t know anyone in the midlands (I live in the midlands) that keeps their car in the garage
The windows are tiny and half of them is taken up with frames. Look like prison windows! Nice kitchen. Bonkers that the garage doors aren't wide enough for a 'modern' car! A house of that size will almost definately have an 'executive' car in the household.
He was wrong it would definitely fit any car the description of the property states that the garage is just under 8 ft which is standard 🤷♀️

How short are these doors? At 6'-3" Matt shouldn't have to duck through the front door.
Great house , fab plot , a rear garage door would be nice for the sit down mower !
door from garage directly inside property would have been nice, however the kitchen couldn't change
